Vireo Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I forgot to add that I used this number from the backdoor numbers thread, not the CSR number: (888) 298-5623 I also used this number to transfer. I was able to do it as soon as both cards showed up in their system before I even got them in the mail. (I purposely left $1000 on the donor card.) Quote
mendelssohn Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I called the Barclays credit department at 866-408-4064 and closed my Rewards MC and moved the limit to my M&M MC. The new CL showed up immediately online. I finally closed my Barclays Rewards MC today and moved the limit to my Miles&More MC. That has me down to 1 card from 4 last year with Barclays with a CL of $24,100. https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=524818&p=5298986 Quote

I'm about to do a mini app spree for my mom, before I begin I want to combine her Citi cards. What's the best way to go about it? I spoke with a CSR a few months back and was told it can be done only during a new application? How does that work? Is that over the phone? I just want her to start cutting back on cc's. The less the merrier (with high limits) Yesterday I called the Citi EO (Somehow ended up with number to President's Office). I am trying to take $5k limit from my HHonors and move it to Double Cash. The person I spoke to was asking "how did you get this number, it's the President's office?" lol. I just told her i got it "from the internet." She took my info for both cards, and said she will submit it to see if I am eligible to do this. She said it will probably be one or two business days before I will get an answer, and she will call me back. She gave me her name and her direct line to call back if I have any questions. No mention of a hard pull. I will update this post when I get an answer one way or the other. Quote
