For the Lowe's phone numbers listed, I don't have a Lowe's card yet so I'm not obviously calling at first to apply and get a starter CL. With that said is the 1-800-240-0512 UW number you listed the number I should only call 4 months (4 statements) after I get the Lowe's card or is it best to call that number (or a different Lowe's/GECRB number?) to apply right away to increase my chances of getting a higher CL from the get go?

 

I also know the GECRB Credit Solutions backdoor number is 1-877-379-8173. Wondering which number would give me the best odds of the highest beginning CL with Lowes?

@Shifter So what number do I call first then? Does it matter? Do I ONLY call the GECRB Credit Solutions UW backdoor number 1-877-379-8173 after I am approved for an initial CL?

I was under the impression from the boards that Cap1 doesn't do manual credit line increases by calling them (UW) and they don't have LUV buttons either? Has that now changed? I have two very old (10+ years old) Capital One cards with pathetic $400 and $750 credit lines. Until Cap1 bought HSBC's credit portfolio in the last year I never got a credit line increase (the one card went from $500 to $750) in 9+ years! :o
