Im actually going up this weekend but am hoping the funeral stuff will be over by then.... the funeral home is on MLK Blvd....as in most hoods, MLK is a major thoroughfare from 1 end of the city to the other

Maybe the gov't and our laws can't do anything about these fools.....

If people would go out in force and put a big buffer between these evil people and the people attending which ever funeral they are protesting....especially carrying signs of love and redemption (such as John 3:17 for those that are Christian, or signs of tolerance for those that are not) to where Westboro's signs of hate can not be seen....

 

Eventually, they might give up.

YESSS!!! have em go the wrong way on the Turnpike, end up in North Philly.... come back over Ben Franklin Bridge & end up in Camden..where the national guard ( who took over for the police there) directs them up to Newark where well.... just about anything could happen.

 

The funeral will be held on Saturday, at a Church that is within feet of Baxter Terrace Projects.....

No. That's about it. It clearly is meant that the gang is a social ill, and that the fact they are G/L is only relevant in as such that Westboro is so, profoundly, homophobic, which would likely draw attention. How ever it is possible to misread the statement as it being that both the gang, and their orientation, are social ills.

 

As I said, I don't think that was intentional, and I never followed up because..... frankly it's none of my business. As far as I am concerned, people who would try to censor, or for that matter, nitpick freedom of speech are just as bad as people who would abuse it. Rather she meant it or not, it isn't my place and I shouldn't have said anything in the first place.

perhaps its the way I was taught to conjugate a sentence.... but putting a parenthesis means that portion belongs to the word(s) immediately preceding it and removes it from the basic thought of said sentence

to make it even clearer.....
