The AMEX black card is one of i know unlimited credit card .I don't think so many of people have this card .I wonder any folks here have this card .I guess when you show this card .No body need take look your credit report anymore .

I WISH. My bff and her husband have/had this card. I suppose you have to be a millionaire to receive this? I suppose they are, with a million in auto's sitting in their driveway. He's a managing partner to one of the big 4 accounting firms.

 

I'm lucky I have a NFCU card at this point.

it a card for high spenders but not necesarily for people with high LNW. I'd bet that for most of the Cent card holders Platinum charge or JPM Chase Palladium would give more bang for the buck.

If memory serves it's 250k in annual spend on another Amex charge to be invited to get one. $7k initiation fee and $2.5K annual fee. As hege mentioned there isn't much of anything it offers over Platinum other than a status symbol.

You can get into the Amex Centurion Airport lounges for free.

 

All in all, hard to see the value prop outside of status. Wouldn't do it for me but I imagine a number of folks could well justify it.

Yep, Amex takes great pains on all their cards T&Cs to point out that NPSL does not mean unlimited spending capability. They even offer Pay Over Time on the Centurion but it's limited to 35k max. same as the Green card.

Their Platinum and Premier Rewards Gold also offer the pay over time feature. I think it's termed Extended Payment Option. I think it's offered on all charge cards if you meet their criteria.

The centurion card by Amex is 'expensive' and jt's worth is not determined only by the benefits which everyone focus' on but rather on the service, attention to details and the doors made easier to open due to the status and exclusivity membership in Cent gives you.

Ah so TANYA, didn't even make it the entire week. People like her ruin it for all the new members. Even BOB was nice enough to offer her help and she just blew it with her mean ramblings. Kind of surprised she wasn't banned earlier.
