I missed out on this BF $50 offer. https://www.psecu.com/about-psecu/newsroom/12-day-holiday-streak-promotion

I believe PSECU has a new CEO now who came from Alliant. I believe if you check, anyone can join now as well. I believe the outgoing CEO wanted to have a nice rewards grant to everyone for his last year, in 2019.

Best Gas Card for non-gas station specific gas
rooms222 replied to Imma make it rain trick's topic in Credit Forum
Note that both Sams Club and Costco credit cards do not give bonuses on each other's gas, other warehouse clubs, and other grocery stores that sell gas such as Kroger, Meijer, and Giant Eagle. -
Agreed that if you live in an area that has different prices for cash and credit, and have average credit or below, the gas cards make some sense when they are a company that gives you the cash price for the store (gas) card. I have seen Marathon, Valero, BP, and Chevron do this in various areas. Marathon and Valero were easiest to get when I was in that situation. Now that Marathon does not manage its portfolio, I'm not sure if they have gotten more difficult to get. I only got rid of the gas cards when my FICO was above 700. The gas card was cheaper than a regular rewards credit card until that point, when I could get cards that paid back 4-5% on gas. At $2 a gallon, the store card is still giving a 5% discount if the cash/credit differential is 10 cents. About half the stations in my area still charge a 10 cent differential, but some have cut the differential to 6 cents or so, since gas prices dropped.

I was approved 10 years and 3 months after filing. It was less than ten years from the discharge date. I had been getting blacklist denials prior to that. I got the Delta card, and was given a 5 figure line. I owed them high four figures when I filed for Bk7 in 2005.

The Delta award builder is $28. It will get you the full credit back when you buy it, and bonus miles on your first trip within a year of purchase.

I know that in my state, the court itself sends out postcards about filed cases as well. This appears to be a state regulated matter that differs by state. What state is the lawsuit in? For example, In NC postcard solicitations to specific individuals (i.e. based on knowledge they might need a specific kind of lawyer due to a filing) are prohibited: http://www.ncbar.com/rules/rules.asp?page=3&keywords=advertise Although there was dissent in adopting the rule, these postcards appear to be allowed in Michigan 30 days after the case is filed: http://milawyersweekly.com/fulltext-opinions/wp-files/opinions/06-75904.pdf

I think you are right. I have a mix of spending on the card, and ever since I started doing that, I have been receiving offers each quarter.

After 3 years at 300, they raised me to 600.

Amex IIB in 2005, should I try for a card now?
rooms222 replied to swm8675309's topic in Credit Forum
Apply. I did a bk7 in March 2005. I had both a Green and an Optima with about an $8,000 loss to Amex. In June I applied for a Delta Skymiles and ended up with a 5 figure line. -
I screwed up - divorce will make auto loan untenable.

Your car may end up here: http://auction.psecu.com/ You may want to talk to PSECU about your situation, particularly when the amount of the final child support becomes clear. Voluntary repossession is a possibility, and PSECU may want to protect the collateral, and deal with the amount owing as an unsecured debt from you. Their process of selling repos themselves through a process of gradually lowered minimum prices, and then an absolute minimum before it is disposed of elsewhere, is different than a straight wholesale auction. It will result in a lower deficiency than other auto lenders, particularly if it sells through their own auto auction site. There is a Kia Soul that has about one hour to go on the "absolute final" go-round of the auction, and it has attracted at least one bid above the minimum they established. The bid it is getting is actually between Private Party Sale and Dealer Retail for the car in Clean Condition on edmunds.com using a PA zip code. That is several thousand higher than the wholesale auction price, and several thousand less in deficiency that the credit union member must pay. -
One time you do need it is if you are sending things to a new address for the first time (gift or address change). Then, it makes you type in the whole account number.
