This thread discriminates against FICO 04.

The last EQ FICO 04 I had was 814, four points away from the maximum Beacon 5 (EQ04) score of 818. Although I've achieved 818 as well.

Inspirational! :clapping:

I almost got to 800 once on TU. 798. And I thought that was awesome. 850 seems incredible to me!

My utilization went up because I paid off a high interest loan with 0% BT offers. Good idea for the budget, but destroyed my scores.

AAOA is 4.8 years, so I have another 8 years to go. But, then again, I have Amex MSD 1970, so if I can get a couple more of those.... :)

I'd get 10 if they would let me! haha

According to my calculations I'm at 6.4 years AAOA as my oldest accounts that haven't aged off at just now 10 years old. I have several 2005 and 2006 vintage accounts getting ready to hit 10 years - by the end of '16 I'll be at 8.5 years AAOA (assuming I stay gardening....)

I remember reading that pursuing 850 would likely come with opportunity costs, were there any to get here? This looks like it could just be an otherwise perfectly clean, well aged profile.

Also is 760+ still regarded as the score needed for all prime rates and offers?

Depending upon the formula the lender uses as Vantage goes into the 900's.

Going strictly by scoring - yes.

Though I've received declines even though I'm at 800ish (TU08). Lenders are looking at DTI a lot more these days.
