So what is the best way right now to get daily pulls of updated reports of all 3 and real updated FICO from all 3 if cost was not an issue?

So what is the best way right now to get daily pulls of updated reports of all 3 and real updated FICO from all 3 if common sense was not an issue?

Fixed that for ya :clapping:

No need, waste of money.

I can get my head around wanting a daily pull, but not a daily score..

I think that if you are attacking a lot of dragons it is nice to see if situation is resolved. The scores will change as well but even MyFico score pulls do not change the score unless there is another even apart from that as well. But finding that something is off your report is very restorative.

I got the trial and I do not see where to refresh my score/report. All options charge.

You can't refresh all 3 CRAs in the trial until 7 days later.

It should tell you that on the main Overview page.

Refresh again on day 7 before you call to cancel (and get the $15 rate) -- and the 2nd pull on day 7 will probably not count toward your 3 per 30 days.

I caved and signed up today :blush2: Had planned on sticking with EX Credit Tracker through the end of my promo pricing, but I really REALLY wanted to see my updated TU and Barclays is taking forever to update it.

Has anyone tried cancelling on day 8 or 9 of the trial? The fine print says you can cancel at any time within 9 days without charge and I was thinking I'd wait till 8 so I could make sure to get my second trial pull on day 7.

Actually when I called to cancel, they told me that I would still have access until the trial ran out, then my new membership would start. Not sure what happens if you just outright cancel and don't sign up for the discounted membership.

AKADaisy, before I signed up for CCT I got my TU FICO from Barclays too. I'm in the middle of escrow on a house and TU is my middle score. I had been holding out thinking Barclays for a real FICO & CK for any new/surprise info on my reportsd would be a good enough combination for keeping an eye on things.

But I S-L-O-W-L-Y realized that Barclays is only once every 2 months. For me on the 5th, but the score generated on the 5th doesn't even post until like the 9th. Paitence is NOT my strong suit, so I caved and signed up. I had been checking my online acct EVERYDAY looking for a new score, before I read the fine print and realized it's only even supposed to be every 60 days. Between that & it being FICO 8 or whatever v FICO 4 that the mortgage company would use, I finally decided I needed SOMETHING. FInally went w/ CCT, even though it's still not FICO 4 b/c it's all three & three times per month.

Found out TU is no longer my middle score, but my highest!! EX is now my middle score. EQ has ALWAYS lagged, and I can't figure it out. All three reports are clean; just more old closed accts from paid off cars or store cards closed to inactivity, or fewer inquiries, or whatever else appeases the credit gods.

Anyway, they told me the same thing they told iBowfish. I called in on day 7 to cancel, and they told me I would not be billed until 2 days AFTER that. I refreshed my score that day (hoping to get a free second score during the trial). I should go back in now to refreash again to see if it will tell me that I still have 2 left this month. Been itching to anyway, yesterday my loan officer said my full mortgage application went to underwriting. Want to see if they've pulled for the second time yet, and what they saw if they did.

I noticed the minimum of every 60 days in the fine print but they got my hopes up by having a couple of sporadic updates in between through the spring. I got my TU fully clean this month and it was worth the $1 just to see the score change and give myself an idea of where I'll be this time next year when all 3 are clean. I'm with you on the laggy EQ and it makes no sense.

Best of luck on the house!!

When Creditboards was mostly about credit repair, the idea used to be kicked around that, with the CRAs being the suckers of information that they are, it could be risky to get all 3 from one CRA . Some thought, myself included, that giving one CRA access to the other two would be a not-so-good idea. I was always freaky careful to keep each CRA separate from the others, even to the point of not checking all three boxes at once to generate a 3-bureau annualcreditreport.

Now I see that Creditboards has just as many members with good/great credit -- but for those with baddies, is anyone experiencing cross-contamination?

What's with this sudden delusion that everyone on this board has great credit now?

95% of the threads are about repair.

Shifter...I think it's perfectly natural to arrive here with bad credit, then, over the course of time, turn things around. I should know....I've done it several times myself

Threads that tackle "good credit" subjects like which Amex to app, 800 club, etc. are indicative that Creditboards works... That's a good thing!

Just a quick update to confirm.

My first 3 reports were on June 22nd. 2 more following that. Yesterday I checked into pulling all 3 again and it was $39.95. Today, $0.00.

So definitely a revolving 30 day window.

I missed the two year promo so I got one. They noted my account for when time is up to re-extend it. So in a round about way I got two years. The lady did tell me that the promotion for CCT ends 7/19/15. At least to acquire it I should say.

Which promotion? The $1 trial, the half price retention offer, or some other promo?

The half priced retention.

Well poop. Figures I started my trial yesterday and was planning on calling 7/23 to grab the retention offer.

There was a report on a different thread that the retention offer for CCT was not going to be available shortly after I started my trial on 7/16. Figured what the H might as well GP it for science.

Went into CCT today (day 7) to get my second free triple pull. Then called customer care to cancel, when asked why I stated I didn't see $30 a month value in the product. Was immediately offered $14.97 for a year starting on my 7/26 billing date so there is still a retention offer available as of today. Rep (named Chatty, BTW) stated I could call back in next year to see if I could keep the rate.

I signed up for CCT on 7/21. I called to cancel on 7/28 to get the better offer. I used the automated path when calling and the system offered me 50% off for five years. I accepted but when I log into my account the payment still shows monthly for $29.95. Will it adjust automatically when the trial ends or do I need to call back and speak with someone?

It did in my case ($14.97 was recently charged to my card), though my CCT account still indicates a monthly fee of $29.95.

I did pretty much the same as you: signed up on 07/19, canceled via automated system on 07/26 and was offered to 50% off for 5 years. After accepting, the system thanked me and abruptly hung up. Worried that the discount may not have taken effect, I was happy to see my card was charged only $14.97 (monthly fee in account section still indicates $29.95, BTW.)

I would wait another day or two before calling. They didn't charge my card until 3 days after canceling,

Good to know. The thank you and quick hang up had me wondering as well. I'll wait until the charge shows up on my card then. Thanks.

I signed up for CCT about 14days ago and went ahead with the automated system today 8/4 and it never offered a discount. It confirmed the cancelation and thats that so i don't know how to approach when i call back that i didn't want to cancel my subscription.

Key words 14 days ago, it's said everywhere in the thread 7 days, and it's actually 9, but 14?

Just an update, i called to talk to a specialist and they were able to give me the 50% off. If you don't get it through the automated system you can always call to request, just let them know you weren't able to select it through the system.
