I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but creditcards.com preapp softs seemed to help me. My most recent TU report today shows 5 softs from that cc.com. I'm down to 0 by the way, so no longer working on *B, but was hoping this would help others.

All my softs from them don't have a PP listed so (under the current TU theory) they don't count.

Ok, you're right. I didn't see that. Sorry, a little new to *B.

Unfortunately, cc.com is now an EX puller. This used to work in the past.

I think Credit.com just switched to EX...did CreditCards.com change as well?

No you are absolutely correct. Cc.com is a TU puller but does not count towards 65.

I wonder if the current paying customers rate will change or if it is just for new members? :dntknw:

I'll be pretty upset if I see next month's billing for $29.95... :aggressive:

Signed up with no issues. Where can I see how many pulls I have left?

It shows it when you do an update. That is the only way I know to view it.

give them a call and ask for the new rate. If they don't I guess you can always cancel and sign up again!

Me too! When I go into my profile I see this:

Premium

$29.95

Monthly

After Free Trial

CURRENT PLAN

I wonder if I downgrade and then upgrade again if it will work and give me the new lower price.

I sent off an email to them stating I was going to cancel, but would reconsider if I got the lower rate...I'll find out in 48 hours.

I called today because they charged me on the 20th at 29.95 and then they launched the new website on the 22nd and that is when the new 16.95 charge took place. I told her that I wasn't pleased at them changing the rate several days after my charge. I asked for a refund for the difference and she told me that was not possible. The new price was for new members only and I'd have to cancel my membership and enroll again. I am paid up until 7/20 at 29.95, but then will still have to cancel and sign-up again for the 16.95. Bummer....

My membership renewed today at the $29.95 rate. I called to ask for additional pulls and about lowering my rate. They informed me that the rate is set when you start the account. I would need to cancel and then restart.

They don't allow you to cancel and restart on the same day. Maybe someone knows how long the wait would be to restart. They did give me a free month next month to compensate. B* would be done at the end, so I was happy. If you just got charged, ask for a free month to compensate. You can always cancel at the end of the free month.

I was able to sign up again today with the lower rate. I have been cancelled for some time now but the only thing was I had to pick a new username and give a new email address. It would not take my previously used email.

b4 cancelling change your email address in their system first, that way you can reuse your preferred original one on re-signup. Or if you have a gmail account just put a period (.) in the address somewhere - that makes it "different" yet still sends mail to the same mailbox.

GP here if anyone is doing a study. They finally let me back in to smartcredit. Some system error locked me out a couple years ago, and I guess maybe the new site cleared it up. I had spent hours on the phone with them before but they couldn't re-activate me.

Anyhow, I have 9 TU and 3 EX inq for testing if anyone wants me to throw something in to see if it counts.

My pullers are USAA,MPM,SCP,EC,EX,TC,PSECU, and SW.

Last time I tried I didnt have any problem getting TU backdoor.

GC, if you don't mind me asking what are EX,TC,PSECU, and SW? (I think I found PSECU on my own)

Thanks
