I was approved Friday and was hoping for the card today. I called this evening and they said it was only ordered today. It did show up on my chase online banking though.

did they indicate you'll receive it tomorrow?

No, actually she said by the end of the week.

I was told 4-5 days but had it right after it appeared on my online account.

Yeah. They are more than happy to overnight it to you but I told them regular mail would be just fine. So you would THINK that because of Chase's relationship with United/Continental (the reason why Priority Pass holders cannot access UA lounges) that they would simply give us United Club access as they do with the mileage plus explorer card. Shall I be the first one to ask ?

I've tried EVERY angle to get a full service PP card with no luck. I called J.P. , Priority Pass a couple of times and it is a no go. If you find a way that works let me know. I would suggest that you do at least call the JP number and let them know you would like United Red Carpet to be included.

On a separate note...My Visa Black CArd just sent me their new airport lounge card. It replaces the PP Select card. It is a Lounge Club card. They have HALF the lounges as the Priority pass does and NO United Red Carpet club access as well. Booooooo. See link below. Most of their lounges look like they were new in the mid 80's. O'Sullivan style entertainment centers. LOL

Brian, any delivery today?

Yes! It came last night. I actually had to pick it up at ups. Thats where the gawking began! I told the lady its a credit card and she wanted to see it. Talked for 15 mins and she called everyone over to look at it. Then today I used it and the lady flipped out asking if I was a millionaire, how did I get it etc. She started yelling to other cashiers to come see it an there were lines of customers, lol. Ita an awesome looking/feeling card. The AU cards should be here tomorrow. Im just going to make up the most unbelievable stories when asked how I got it such as " my great great great great grandfather invented modern day time. Its a long complicated story but time was revolutionized into what it is today not so long ago. So whever someone buys a clock, watch or any time measuring device the estate gets a royalty" lmao or " my family invented soda cans" lol.

Anyways, I was just approved for a lease on a 2012 CTS Coupe so I pick that up in the morning. Feeling like king of the world.

Heh the most frequent I get are "wow that's a heavy card I wasn't expecting it" or "this is the coolest card I've ever seen". I said to my friend who's a banker at Chase "Now I just got to find a place with a hot cashier" and his response was "We should go back to Hooters" (the girl at hooters was impressed with the Zync card).

you guys are really making me want this card... I thought it was kind of silly at first but seeing all of you supposedly responsible adults apply for it is helping me rationalize it...

I have to resist.

the card is not for everyone and I have to cover my nose a bit to rationalize it. but hell, for a year I'll see how it goes. There are plenty of purchases other people make that I consider wasteful. I am entitled to one AF vice.

I want this card. What i have to do?

You can call the number listed on their website and ask your questions. They are very helpful. From what I know US cards are open to US Citizens / Permanent Residents but I am sure there are different ways they can accommodate your request and also the fact that you already have a relationship with JPM. Call them and talk to them.

Thanks, but i would like to know per the members experience more or less the specifics required. What has been your experience in the whole process, what they have asked you, what's the minimum they imply you to have or whatever. This is why i am here, to get some first hand experience before i try to waste my time in vain. I do have relationship with JPM via my family, but it's not immediate. I, myself do not have any type of relationship with them. My uncle is the client. I want to give it a shot if not, ok. Moreover $600 is imho a hefty annual fee. I have other cards issued in my country, which have full PP membership and i do not pay any type of annual fee for all my cards.

welcome to CB!

for an answer to your specific question it is probably best to call and ask since there might be residency requirements that none of the people in this thread have dealt with.

but for experiences getting the card, this thread has a lot of information. Most of us were not asked anything about our prior relationship with JPM or were even asked to verify income. My opinion is the underwriting is driven mostly by credit score and debt-to-income ratio.

I had a 757 FICO, but I also only make $50k/yr, so that may have played a part in my denial.

I also have been kicking around about app for this card I'm to assume that they pull EX are they more likely look into income, score,DTI.

I would bet DTI is probably a primary factor.

Regarding EX, if you freeze it, they'll pull something else.

I'm good in that dept scores are over 800 income 6fig plus just a tin credit file I been cash no credit.

Unless my income drastically changes I could not justify getting such a card, even if the material the card was made out of was worth more than the annual fee.

Good for all of you who have applied for it, got it, and are enjoying it though. Who knows, if I have a great idea and start raking in the dough I might join the club. In the meantime, I'll settle for my lowly plastic cards

(Some sour grapes here. Ah well).

Curious to see more of the exclusive cardholder perks. I expect updates from you all

with EX frozen it looks like you get a pull on both TU and EQ.

I had a lot of inquiries on EX when they pulled and nary a word was said.

Heg do you think a thin file would be a problem?

it depends on why it is thin. young person? previous BK? ramsey-no-credit-kool-aide? etc.

I guess how thin is thin? IMHO score and DTI will matter more given the scant attention my application got.

then I don't see a problem especially if you have decent credit products now.

I think the problem that I see is that I do not have alto of revolving credit.
