Like you just locked that last topic? *sigh*

Thoughts on this - having *b* is fine - but if we want to get the inqs off of EX - whats your suggestion breeze/admin? From what I've read - its impossible and I haven't found any real good ideas for that.

If you have "years of experience" please feel free to forward me the correct search parameters and I'll be happy to search that way - or direct me to the correct post.

I don't feel it was fair for breeze to lock my thread..

Not once did I tell people to go out and dispute their INQs (on PFB or the CRAs). Where is the harm in asking the lendor to remove the INQ? Never hurts to ask!

I am somewhat new, but I know better to dispute INQs with the CRA. If disputing INQs via PFB works for me, why not share that?

How do you ask a lender to remove inquiry when you actually applied for credit?

to PSP and Breeze.. I did not dispute any INQs for whom I have an active TL with.. I am not that dumb.. You guys seem to think otherwise.

They don't think you're dumb, most likely. Probably just concerned that someone may do what you did and get hurt by it. Like people have said, you can get a fraud alert put on your file by disputing inquiries, and that can be hard to deal with. I've screwed up in postings before, and just messaged Breeze. She'll tell you what she was thinking if you e-mail her.

Guys, it's not a good idea to start a new topic on the same discussion as one that was just locked.

Disputing or challenging legitimate inquiries is a dumb idea, period.

Ok.. for the last time.. I did not dispute with the CRA and I did not dispute INQs that relate to open TLs.

Anyways.. I have stirred up too much heat.. I am sorry. I hope no one takes anything personally.. I have learaned a lot on CB. i was just trying to share my experience.

If you're referring to the thread that I locked because someone suggested offering to pay creditors to remove inquiries (PFD), I locked it because that kind of thing can be construed as bribery and get someone in legal trouble...nothing personal, we just have to protect the members from misinformation before somebody gets themselves "hurt".

I am now happy here. "Breeze" is keeping the yard clean so we can all learn and research important issues. I was a member of a previouse credit-site that is no longer and one reason is stuff like this was aloud o remain with no control. I respect this board and am glad and pleased to set back and take in the "Legal" and honest advise that will keep us all from going in the wrong direction.

Safe advice is sometimes the best! So learn like I have had to lately set back and watch. You later will understand, and be glad we have people like "breeze" here to know when to stop the thread.

Again if you applied for the credit then the inquiry is yours and that is what this is all about on "Creditbords" showing and helping us to be more responsible so we can earn our second chance at being more responsible with our credit. :search:

Oh, OK, just wanted to make sure it wasn't the one I was thinking of :search:

Now, as for the fact that Breeze/psp closed the thread before, I'm going to have to lock it again until they have a chance to look at it. We can't just go starting new threads about the same stuff when ones get locked.......

Please re-read PsychDoc's seminars. And drop the attitude.
