It looks like there is a method to Amex’s madness!
MountainMan_60 replied to Rorer_714's topic in Credit Forum
Does anyone give a crap that 7,000 human beings lost their jobs while AMEX continues their little games. All about money and selfishness!! -
Look up Revised Code of Washington and go from there--I use it quite often as I too live in the great state of Washington. Somewhere under some subsection is your answer. I started to look but it is late and my eyes are weary. Good luck!!

Refundable Tax Credits are NOT welfare. If they were believe me the last administration and their minions in congress would have shut them down!!

What is the difference between a recession and a depression?
MountainMan_60 replied to hegemony's topic in Credit Forum
Depression equates to more crime as some people get desperate to feed and house their families. God help us if we have a long term depression!! -
Threaten to leave his sorry flowers if he doesn't start showing some compassion for his sick daughter--then follow through!!

Equifax affirms it will still sell FICO scores

I think they are a bunch of baloney (bologna) anyway!! -
We had $80,000 unsecured cc debt, filed bankruptcy in Jul '08 and was discharged in Nov '08. No muss no fuss ----new life. Your prospective employer would probably rather see your bankruptcy than your still owing $70,000 and worrying, not giving your all to your job.

It was nice and sunny and the mountains shown in all their glory in our wonderous Northwest State of Wahington. Enjoyed watching over 50 elk in our field this morning.

At least it happened to a bottom feeder!!

I am normally an optimistic person but am now afraid that crime will skyrocket as more people get desperate. Fewer people will be wlling to stand in soup lines or do hard labor as they did during the great depression.

Postmaster General: Mail days may need to be cut
MountainMan_60 replied to Uncle Leo's topic in General Discussion
Actually the junk mail is what keeping the mail going at all. I don't mind a day less service as long as they don't try to cut back on our rural services. I believe the post office should be a fully funded government entity as it used to be, not trying to make it a profit oriented system. Services llike DOD, Treasury, Postal, Law Enforcement, etc. should be have subsidies!! -
