They gave you number to call them. I have this card and pretty sure I got the same message. When I called, they just ask about your income and a few questions regarding something or lack of it, on your report, as well as why do you want the card.

My FICO score is 635 with UTI about 35% I really dont see an approval in my future

Would this be a good card to transfer a balance from another card? Say a first premier or cap 1? Is that a good reason to want the card? Just trying to prepare for my call tomorrow. .

This is a good card and I'm very happy with it. Rates and such can probably differ for people; for BT they gave me 0% for more than year, and for interest purchase its also 0% for over a year plus cash back bonus and their site also provides various discounts 5-20%. It's a keeper.

 

ps it has a bluish grey steel look.

I received that message. I called the recon and was approved for $1,200.00. I just had my 6th statement cut, so I called in for a CLI. Asked for an increase to $5,000.00 and approved. I'm happy with that for Discover. I coulda/shoulda asked for more, but all-in-all, I am happy.

I get a preapproved application in the mail from them for this card nearly every other day (no joke, I have received 3 in the last week) and have done so for the last couple months.

 

They are just begging me to bite.

Ditto. If they had at least a $200 signup bonus I would do it (I'm only entertaining $400 and up offers, but would make the 'sacrifice' just to have a Discover). I think the least they're offering is $50 referral bonus.
