Exactly what everyone else said. You have to make atleast the min payment and make sure you have it paid off to be safe atleast a month prior to the deferred interest ending.

Manufactured spending is an art , Some people get no flack from amazon doing this others have been shut down ( would only worry about amazon as far as being shut down .. Not any CC). I would seriously look at any 2% cards( usbank cash+ , capital one venture card are two i have). 5k a month in vanilla reloads ( 4.95 fee per 500.00 ) nets you a bit more. Also amex bluebird gives you the ability to use bill pay and pay those bills that you could otherwise not pay with a credit card. ( car , mortgage) or just pay the credit card right back with the money . The first quarter for my citi card is 5% cash back at pharmacies.( max 300 cash back a year) . So i buy 6k in the first two months netting me an $240.00.

Anyone with experience with penfed able to chime in here. Yesterday my Credit card app said approved and gave the CL info and today it says Product Application Number Date Started Status Action VISA Platinum Cash Rewards 9xxx 04/08/2013 TRANSFERRED 04/09/2013 What does Transferred mean?

I just looked at the status of my application and it was approved at the 19.5k CL.

I should really stay away from this thread each quarter . I never get any offers(i do not have any credit products with them either). But i have tried once again. This time i decided to add my wife as joint and instead of a decline , It said the application has been sent to be reviewed with a CL of 19.5k I guess we will see how it goes. That 5% always on gas would be nice.

after Canceling our Plan b 1100.0 CL Best buy store card a couple of months ago .. Our dishwasher is acting up so we went in today to buy one .. decided to try again on the store card and was approved for a 1900.00 CL Plan A card today.
