I purchased a jailbroken apple tv from ebay for 230.00...I can watch anything on it, including movies that are still playing in theaters. Yes, not legal so I don't do the theater thing very often but any other cable channel is on there..so I freed myself from cable. You may also want to purchase an HD antenna if you want to watch local news...that is the only thing I actually missed when I dropped cable.

I make an extra 100 per month just by doing surveys while I sit and watch tv or browse facebook....it's not much but hey it's a credit card payment! www.globaltestmarket.com. Thanks for the replies. I paid for the phone and first months' service when I enrolled. I have tried calling but keep being put on hokd, gyess I'll have to take a trip to Walmart. I just wasn't aware that they could report if they don't have my social security number?

Hello, My phone broke while on vacation and I was desperate to get a cheap one, so I went to walmart and signed up for their no-contract prepaid cellphone plan, and got a cheap phone to use until I could replace my current one. I ended up using it for a total of 2 months, then I switched to a different provider. The have recently sent me a bill for 89.00 saying if I don't pay it, they will send it to a collection agency. Never did I sign a contract with them, also they never asked for my social security number, however, they did take a photcopy of my drivers license. i don't understand how they can be billing me for something that was supposedly a no penalty cancellation? Any advice? Do I have to pay this bill? I shoudl mention the first bill I got was 45.00, I ignored it thinking it was a mistake since I cancelled the service, now it seems they are also billing me for an additional month.

I'm a pretty good speller, always won spelling bees in school, the only words I sometimes have a problem with are the i before e except after c words, there are so many exceptions to that rule.

I don't know what time you start work but if you were supposed to start at 6:00 am and didn't show and the office officially closed at 8:45 am, then I would think you would use vacation time or go unpaid from 6:00 am to 8:45 am, the rest should be comp time since the office closed and you couldn't have worked even if you were willing to.

JCP did it for me without an inquiry, just listed the old closed account as credit card being lost or stolen...IIRC when I told them that I didn't have the full account number, they asked for my social security number and looked the account up from that. Needless to say, they were very helpful and made me a happy girl.

Do you have a local VyStar CU near you? I went through them when my score was less than yours and a 5 yr old bk7, they gave me a 7 percent rate. Granted I was not a first time buyer, but my credit report included some charge offs as well as the bk.

Because it kills a few brain cells with the hope that you will then be dumb enough to pay their exhorbitant prices.

I did it for my loan, it was easy peasy..just had to attend an 8 hour class. My mortgage broker started the process prior to my looking at houses though..I don't think it will hold up the closing much at all, just find out when the classes are held....the only other thing is the home cannot be a prior foreclosure unless it has been on the market for 90 days, otherwise the grant program considers it flipping which is not allowed within the grant program, at least not in the state of Florida.

Sorry..you did say something about power so I thought it included your electric...that does seem high for a single person, esp. with your being on vacation, have you checked to be sure your toilet is not leaking? or a drippy faucet?
