that doesn't seem worth the effort especially given how risky debit cards are. It's either that or checks. I only have a secured credit card that I use for gas, restaurants, and online.

.75% on $15k is (15000 x .0075)/12 = 9.375 per month Money market accounts limit withdrawals to 6 per month, some limit the size of the withdrawal or require electronic statements or a minimum balance or only pay it on a maximum amount and the rest earns less. Make sure you understand all the terms. Does the different credit card have an annual fee? Here is another example: https://www.comfedcu.org/products-and-services/savings/reverse-tier-money-max/

There is small regional bank I use. I get 2.25% on checking up to $10k, I have to use my debit card 10 times and they have to post before the statement, I have to get my statement by download from the website, I don't need a direct deposit. They also have a money market that just went up to 1.75% on up to $50k. Minimum to open is $50 and you need to get a statement by downloading it. The paper statements on all accounts are $3 Look around, there are probably better deals than .75% and these two accounts I mentioned just went up from 2% and 1.5% in February. The money market increased the upper limit from $35k.

You would have been better with a secured no fee card. With said, after you pay off the $150, what is your credit line? I think it said up to $1500, but who cares? I shredded it.

Our county has tax records online. You can see who owes taxes, how many years are delinquent, who is paid up and how much the tax is, the address and the legal description of each property.

How to get a public record removed from your credit report
Not Given replied to blake10's topic in Credit Forum
online form https://optout.lexisnexis.com/oo.jsp reason I do not want my information publicly available via LexisNexis products -
My husband said they had something like this at work. They were supposed to take some online course, then after that they sent out some phishing type emails to see if they fell for it. It didn't work on him. He only opens email from people he knows, everything else 'must be spam.' So he didn't fall for it, but he also never took the online course because he didn't know who the emails with the course link were from.

What protections does a consumer have if a bill was not mailed?
Not Given replied to Poor Bastard's topic in Credit Forum
Absolutely no protection at all. Give them a credit card or a check for the copay amount at the appointment and get a receipt. Make sure your EOB matches the amount you paid. If they can charge more, look for a bill, call about a bill, go in and ask for a copy of the bill so you can pay it, also get a receipt. -
Lexis Nexus / Accurint Class Action Settlement Anyone else?
Not Given replied to ICANHASMUNY?'s topic in Credit Forum
I didn't realize the class was so small. We each got our reports around the time we filed bk7. Got both checks yesterday. -
Exactly. I couldn't put a PM# in the letter because I couldn't get it. When I got the envelopes, I asked for the tracking numbers so I could include them. The guy at the post office wouldn't give or sell them to me until I was ready to send them. He said I couldn't put the tracking numbers in the letters because I wouldn't get the numbers until I mailed them.
