Has anyone seen any 3rd Quarter PenFed Pre-Approvals?

Saw one on 6/12. But not sure if just related to my fairly new credit card with them. More curious if they have put them up as they usually show in early July.

Not surprising. They might only be doing critical account updates until power is completely restored in the hope of not overtaxing their generators.

 

My CC payment, which should have been received by them on Friday, still hasn't posted to my account. It's due tomorrow, so I'm monitoring that in case I need to do an electronic payment from their website.

But no offers for CLIs or CC products this round.

How long after your first credit product with them do preapprovals happen? I got my AMEX last July, after the preapprovals went out (but I wasn't preapproved for anything, I had to apply for it). If they make you wait one full year, then hopefully something will come up in October.

I've been waiting over 3 years and still nothing, so who knows. This is with a 800 FICO, BTW.

My offers are gone now. I had the auto loans sitting there for months....until I used their offer to buy a new car about 2 weeks ago.

When I joined, I very much didn't qualify for any of their credit products. Once my reports and scores improved, I still hadn't gotten any soft pulls. I applied for the PenFed AMEX, hoping that it would trigger soft pulls going forward. I was shocked when they approved me for the AMEX with a $15,500 limit. If you've done a lot of cleaning since you first joined, and if your scores are close to the 700s, my advice is to apply for something and take the hard pull, and check in September to see if you've gotten a soft pull.

Well I applied for their Visa when I first joined over a year ago and was denied for "bankruptcy". Maybe they have me on some sort of Bankruptcy do not soft list.
