Best rates on CD's???

Going to open a 12 month CD next month and wondering who has the best rates?. I use ING direct, their 12 month is 1.60%.

Thought I would get some opinions from you guys.

isn't there a 5K limit per year?

You forfeit 3 month interest if you hold them less for 5 years. You have to hold them for 1 year. Even with that.. you still beat the rates of most cd's given the current rate and possible future rates.

Looks pretty darn good at 3.36%. Going to look into this further.

 

My own bank only offers a 2.50% for a 60 month CD. I sure as heck do not want to lock into a rate that low for such an extended time. As said here, rates may go up after the April reset. Perhaps I shall hold my money to see the outcome of the reset.
