"When it comes to money, there are some classic female financial flubs."

Maybe they should just stay barefoot and pregnant. Talk about a sexist article.

It all started with giving them voting rights. Now they want equality.

So ... I guess you guys didn't notice that this is a column in the ForbesWoman section of the website?

It's a regular column written by a woman, for women, on a media website that dedicates that entire section to women.

I'll try to refrain from making any smart@ss comments (believe me it's hard) but c'mon people, context is important.

Y'all making the 'sexist' accusations are off-base. Note that it is an article written by a woman, for women. Hence, the "we all" is really "all us women". You could maybe criticize her for her phrasing, but not for being sexist. You all men weren't her target audience to begin with.

ETA: Kevin20 and I were writing at the same time.

Honestly, no - I didn't realize this was a ForbesWoman article until I got to the very bottom where it said "read more ForbesWoman."

The link says "www.forbes.com...", the page header reads forbes.com, and I *always* mentally tune out all the ads, sidebars and photos when I'm reading an article so that I can concentrate on the text, so I didn't see the "ForbesWoman" box a third of the way down the page.

Who ever rights the article has no barring on weather it is sexist or not. I could give you 100’s of examples but we would travel down the P road.

All that means is that we as a society have become absurdly oversensitive.

So I suppose then it's ok for her to say all women make these mistakes? That they affect every budget?

As a woman, I take offense to the article. I make some mistakes with my money, as everyone does now and then, but none of my mistakes are the ones listed.

The mistakes listed are sexist. They we trade shoe sale tips instead of stock tips?? That we rely on men for our finances?? Give me a break.

And really terrible spellers.

...or does not know the difference between spelling a word wrong and using the wrong word.
