I'm not altogether sure that Privacy Assist is a "free" trial. When I canceled it about eight months ago one day after the new billing cycle they credited the monthly fee back to me. When I signed up today it says, "30 days to review before $18 charge..." so I'll have to call tomorrow and find out. I wonder how many trials I can get away with if it is indeed a free trial, the reports are actually pretty detailed, I like them. :D

What? Smartcredit you can cancel online without having to call in. I have no problem telling you all that.

 

I don't believe in hoarding information or having some chip on my shoulder because I had to work hard to gather info, and now I refuse to share it with others, and I don't see why anyone else would either.

 

I understand the concept of searching. I understand I can click every link and read the T&C myself. But this is a forum for sharing information, and I see nothing wrong with asking a relevant question to this thread and hoping someone will share the information with me.

Yesterday I was at 82 and right on the verge of b*. I had a heck of a time finding this thread again (I hate searching for stuff). I am very impatient at times. I figured that with EQ c* coming soon, I wouldn't be the only one looking for a little boost to reach the end, which is why I bumped this thread. For me, it was very helpful. I feed the fico (650 EQ, yay!) and started signing up for the free trials from the list. Thanks BW for taking the time to compile that!

 

First I signed up for Credit Karma (not sure if that counts toward EQ or not). Then, trying to use only the 30 day trials, Credit Keeper (1), True Credit (2), Fifth Third Identity Alert (wouldn't allow me as they already had my CC on file with another credit monitoring service??), Identity Protect (same story as 5/3), Identity Guard (3), FreeScore (4) Started seeing B*!, and MyCreditHealth(SOL) (5). I used ALOT of ink and paper printing out EVERYTHING.

 

Before I went to sleep last night, I pulled MPM and there was only 9 (down from 12). When I woke today I pulled USAA/CCMP it showed 12 still??

 

I wonder how long it is going to take to cancel all these trials and if it was worth it? I dunno. GGE, I also would like there to be an EASY way to cancel, but I don't think there is for the ones I've seen. T&C always said to call # to cancel.

I'm running CCT & MPM.... I was hopping to get EQ bumpage somehow... just never happened....

 

I might roll back to only CCT.... having both seems like a waste unless another EQ daily puller pops up other than an AMEX product....

I think it CAN be done with only two pullers, given the right circumstances. For me, I had 12 hards on EQ, was c* in Mar & Apr, and still got up into the 70's pulling USAA/CCMP and MPM. Thanks to the BOOST from signing up for these free trials, 4B*s so far....

How do you check how many softs you have? I thought back dooring EQ gets you chopped?

 

I use BD. It's kinda like cutthroat poker and Russian roulette and playing with 18-wheelers on the freeway all rolled into one. B)

 

Not recommended...YMMV.

Which one is it!??? If it's 9 then I've been getting *B.

 

I would love to do the trials, but I don't want one to cancel the other. Need *b on Tu and EQ/CSC. :warning:

I think MPM is correct. CCT has been incorrect in the past for me and MPM has been spot-on.

For me, MPM also seems more accurate than my USAA/CCMP (EX-puller like CCT). Identical to EQ's bd.

It states that they perform a "soft" inquiry on EQ when registering. Any idea whether this inquiry will count towards EQ B*?

I kinda doubt it, but it won't hurt to try. :yu:

Or is it fine if that's all I'm using to get some extra softs?

 

MCK= My Credit Keeper, it's a monthly puller not daily.

So if I already use MPM through KeyBank, I can't do any of the free trials listed as MPM right?

I think cm2010 and eric tried to enroll in multiple MPMs without success.
