Oh, I only do one too, scp, but I'm saying it in reference to his post saying 3 for TU. Wanna make sure he knows only two will count (for dailys, not counting those four softs per month).

Steelcity, there's a spreadsheet that will show you which ones pull what.

Appreciate you looking out Rebuilding. I have taken note that for TU it's good to use Smart Credit and TU plus. For EQ to use USAA and MPM (or AMEX credit secure). Correct me if I'm wrong.

So instead of using 3, it's best to use one or two of those services? Where do the four softs come from?

And don't squander your one-time pulls before you need them.

Thanks for that link. I've read it before but I'm still not getting it 100%.

I currently have credit check total. I know that's a one time monthly puller. Can you give me an example of a scenario when I would "need" it so I don't waste it uselessly? (not trying to sound rude, just curious)

And I thought only two counted for TU

I say one for TU because I'm cheap. :D

I'm assuming that your at the point where you're just maintaining BW. You're like the guy at the gym that's been working out 6 days a week and dieting strictly for the last 10 years. Now you're at the maintenance level where you go to the gym 3 days a week and just watch what you eat.

You've put all the time and effort in fixing your credit, bumping and applying and maintaining a great score.....now you can sit back and take it easy.

So with that being said....If you were on an applying spree you'd use more than one service correct?

You have 79 good softs on EQ, you have 3 EQ pullers and you expect to be chopped tomorrow. You already pulled all 3 today.

Obviously you are not going to finish. If you don't, it will mean another month of daily pulling and another month of paying for 3 expensive pullers. Something might go wrong next month too.

But, if you could somehow find 3 extra softs within the next 24 hours...

Ok I got you

No, because using more than one service risks C*

If you know you're on the C* list already, sign up for 3 Equifax pullers.

Ok...so bottom line is it's a higher risk of C* if you start with 3 and you might as well save money by starting with one to see if you're on the C* list anyway...gotcha

I'll go ahead and try to update the pullers.

I haven't done anything to this thread,

because it really shouldn't be necessary,

unless somebody had emergencies that prevented

pulling for a few days.

I prefer profanity to Profinity any day of the week. :P

Remember that these are for true emergencies only.

Many of them will duplicate each other,

so don't think that these will give you lots of counting softs.

Best usage is when you're within ~5 pulls,

C* week has been confirmed,

and your state is tomorrow.

Bob:

I am totally confused by everything you just said. What do you mean best usage is when you're within ~5 pulls? Why can't I just pull my credit report any old time I want? I thought it did not affect my credit score?

You have confused me.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh okay. To avoid imminent choppage.

I have been paying no attention to that because I only have 27 soft inquiries.

But I do really appreciate the explanation. Is there a way/service I can subscribe to that gives me a credit report every month? If I am trying to repair credit, don't I need to actually see my credit report routinely?

Thanks.

To get regular full reports usually requires legitimate disputing,

or backdooring,

the details of which are,

how should I put it delicately,

NSFW. :P

Posted (edited)

At Bobwang's request: The following pullers allowed me to reuse (roughly 7 months from first use)

-Creditreport.com

-Creditreport123.com (allowed me register but couldn't pull because EX-is frozen-doh!)

-Privacyguard:https://www.privacyg...t/thankyou.html

-Creditreportsandscores.com

-ThinkCreditReports.com

Cancellation was a bit painful for creditreport.com and rep gave me lip "i noticed you've tried us before mr. beast" ugh.

Privacyguard has online cancellation

The others were typical calls.

Goodluck.

EDIT: None of the scoresense linked products allowed me re-up.
