I included two Barclays accounts in my BK in 2012. Received that same letter numerous times. They finally approved me for the Rewards MC late 2013 with a $500 CL. I'm now at $2,850 CL.

No it's not paid yet, but it's good to know that they will grant me membership if it's paid.

TobyHanna FCU did not let me open a Savings due to an entry in Chex.

Capital One 360 does not check Chex. I've had an acct with them for about 6 mos now and I did not have an existing checking acct with Capital One

Good to know. I recently applied for membership and was denied for Chex entry.

I did not pay one of those camera tickets in DC and it doubled and when it doubled it hit my credit report as a collection. I paid it and it was removed.

I was getting them periodically pre TD Bank, but none since TD Bank took over.

Thanks everyone. I've called the EO several times in the past with no luck on any of my CO cards. I will try again in 6 mos. and ask about the rewards too.

I received this card after my BK discharged (3/12) and it has been sitting at the $300 CL since then. I logged into my acct yesterday after hubby said they increased one of his cards and low and behold I see they also gave me an increase to $750 . I thought this card would never see an increase. Now if they can just give me an increase on my two credit steps cards

So refreshing!! I'm so glad they have shut these folks down!! They have harrassed me and several of my family members in the past about a debt that was IIB. I have complained with letters to the FTC, online complaints to BBB, etc. Great news!!
