nlocker, aka BI XXXVIII, noticed on 5/16/2012 that Credit.com (Cc) stopped using TransUnion, and started providing an Experian FAKO.

I just now realized that if you click on "Learn more +" below the score, you also get an estimated Experian FICO & VantageScore (VS)

For me, the visible score of 830 is very close to my PSECU Experian of 827.

Credit Sesame has me at 840.

"Estimated FICO" is 800, well below actual 827.

"Estimated VantageScore" is 905, also below Alliant CU's 990.

If you do get your Credit.com score, I'm making a request to have people post them in this format: (If you don't have a score, just skip it)

PSECU = 827

Other Experian FICO =

Alliant CU VantageScore = 990

Cc = 830

Cc Estimated FICO = 800

Cc Estimated VS = 905

Credit Sesame (CS) = 840

Does this help?

CC=718

CC Vantage = 750

cc estimated FICO= 705

last EXFICO (mortgage pull Mid Apr) = 666

Last EQ FICO, paid pull 5/31= 671

USAA score=715

(shouldn't they be the same?)

CreditKarma score= 662

CK Vantage Score= 700 (matches my TU score)

WebBank Denial (200-900) = 607

First Tech Denial (322-844) = 570

All data help.

The purpose of comparing FAKOs, especially Experian, is that consumers can no longer buy their Experian FICO.

So, we have to resort to using proxies, which are accurate for some people, but wildly inaccurate for others.

e.g., we know that Credit Sesame tends to overlook baddies, so the CS score is much higher for many people with baddies.

Thanks, that does help.

If you could sign up for Credit Sesame, for a comparison, that would be especially helpful.

Added CS. For what it's worth, CC didn't seem to take my 1 baddie (open collection) into consideration. Everyone else complained about having a late payment

Now THIS is VERY interesting.

So it seems that Credit Sesame ignores some baddies, and Credit.com ignores other baddies.

Maybe those with baddies can compare their CS and Cc scores.

Perhaps averaging the two will give a better approximation of Experian FICO for those with baddies.

At last check, these were my FICOs.

Equifax - 697 (DCU, 5/25/12)

Experian - 716 (Visions FCU, 5/1/12)

TransUnion - 746 (Wal-Mart, 5/3/12)

And then, an assortment of FAKOs for your viewing pleasure.

CreditSesame - 718 (6/5/12)

CreditKarma Transrisk - 685 (6/11/12)

CreditKarma VantageScore - 777 (6/11/12)

Credit.com Score - 671 (5/15/12)

Credit.com Estimated FICO - 664 (5/15/12)

Credit.com Estimated VantageScore - 692 (5/15/12)

No baddies, just a young credit file. 8 open CC's, 2 open student loan accounts, 1 closed student loan.

Thanks for the scores, keep 'em coming. :D

It's looking like C.c's estimates tend to err on the low side.

Maybe that is true they have me at 795.
