That's a couple of useful lists there.

For me the next step is to find a card with no FTF that has no annual fee, as an AF would probably negate the savings for the amount of spending I do. (The AF might possibly be offset by other benefits of the card though, I'm thinking about the Sapphire Preferred.)

 

The next consideration is which card gives the best cash rewards in the "all others" category. Discover is .25% for the first $3k and is not widely accepted overseas, PenFed is dropping theirs to .25% (on the Visa not the AmEx, but I prefer cash over points) and my USAA has the FTF waived for a year whenever I deploy, but the first $5k is .45%. The CapOne Cash would fit the bill but I prefer to stay away from Capital One for multiple reasons.

 

Another consideration is which cards have chip & pin for overseas use.
