Why people leave their crypto on exchanges is beyond me. Like a bank, if it is not in your wallet, it isn't yours.

Yes!! The cheaper insurance companies will likely get you setup to be sued. For example, a guy with the minimally required state policy(25k/50k) with Progressive hit me and pushed me into the car in front of me. Car was totaled and I was injured. At the time I was working 2 6 figure jobs. I lost one of them thanks to that accident because I was going from job 1 to job 2 to setup the phones in the new office. Obviously I didn't make it. Long story short, requested the policy limits and Progressive offered to settle at $6600. A lawsuit was filed immediately on the guy that caused the accident and a request from him to sue his insurance company for not properly protecting him against a high wage earner. Just dumb! Yup. USAA is the best, if you qualify (military only). GEICO if you don't qualify for USAA (clean driving record is important). I have USAA. I was an officer in the Army. They are not the best anymore. Ok, property damage they are fair and quick. Medical payments, I had to file a complaint with the state insurance commission for them to get off their tail and pay my $7800 claim. The accident was over 11 months ago. Suddenly, after that complaint was filed, office of the CEO has taken over and the payments from the claim are being paid out. I shouldn't need to do all of that for my insurance company to properly protect me as I am paying them to do. I am not looking forward to the underinsured claim of $49k I have to file with USAA after I get the guy I mentioned above's policy limits. My attorney said usually you have to sue USAA. My point is, although Amica is super high, they are favored for their proper and swift handling of claims per online reviews, accident attorney reviews and real life policy holders. I am actively moving all my insurance to them and kissing USAA goodbye forever! I heard AAA is ok as long as you don't have any expensive claims. So, I got a quote, they called but I didn't consider them as I have a lot to lose. Wow...you should've sued the guy who hit you for a year's pay or something...I'd be so pissed. Blood and Turnips. Those who get minimal coverage or only maintain insurance just to stay out of jail with an SR on their record aren't concerned about claims, just having that little card that says they have insurance. Thank you for your service to our nation. No thanks needed. It was my job at the time. But, you're welcome. As for the analogy, true! When I was his age, I did the same thing. Last thing I thought of was liability to others. I just wanted to legally drive! But I didn't text and drive and ram into the back of people at 22 mph in SUVs either. LOL!

I will never recover that money from him or his insurance policy. He was young and lives in a county that is known for people not having a high net worth. For some reason he was driving in the most expensive area in the state (almost an hour away from home). To boot, he had a suspended drivers license and was arrested at the scene. So, he is confirmed to be broke. I will let USAA handle suing him and take on the risk of him filing bankruptcy after I file a claim on my underinsured policy. Sadly it will take another 2 years to even collect off that policy with the way USAA has been handling underinsured claims lately. Nice guy and I hate to do this to him, however we all do have a responsibility not only to ourselves but others on the road and must pay accordingly when an accident occurs that we are involved in.

Same thing happened to my Cap 1. After a ton of years, they decide to implement a membership fee last month. I closed the card yesterday.

Ha ha ha!! I eventually got in almost 2 years ago. 2 CCs. Not too impressed with NFCU.

I sued Experian in Small Claims Court - and Won $2500.00
Q replied to belairpatrol's topic in Credit Forum
Attorneys aren't allowed to represent individuals in SCC but they are allowed to represent corporations. Right you are. I stand corrected. Still strange it wasn't removed as the CRA doesn't want a Federal law misinterpreted. Good look with the Appeal OP. -

This might be the first time I saw a CRA defend a case in Small Claims. Attorneys are not usually allowed. Unless you happen to be in a state that does allow them. Give us details! Smalls claims is a hell of alot cheaper than Federal court to file a lawsuit. -
Hey Trevor. They have been ok to me. I just remembered, I originally had 3 cards, one of them was closed with 2 remaining. And my credit line has barely changed.

Aww man! This thread is a classic. I still have both of my Junami cards.
