IRS Tax lien Resolution Help
-
Thank you for the reply my friend. I was in the midst of fighting the increased payment. since there are no designated HR offices, we leave a message and wait for return calls. everything is done at a snail pace. I was actually surprised to receive the letter from the IRS. I was not told that the process has started and my loan will be considered a Withdrawl. again, thank you for your reply.

There is a lien for home improvement....approx $18/$20k, given 40 to 45yrs ago. rough estimate of the home is just under $400k. to be satisfied with the sale of the home or change in owners. otherwise no mortgage, HELOC. nothing else. would need to buy 2 siblings out....and do much needed repairs. Thank you for the reply/question.

I was made the Executor and have 3 siblings. I am wondering what are my options is settling everything and transferring the House into say an Estate or Trust Instrument. Hoping to do most of the leg work without an attorney and keep all cost low and to a minimum if possible. There is a strong probability that 2 of us 4, will be bought out of the house. Please help !!!!

Hello, wondering if you can help or offer any suggestions. Long story made shorter, I took a loan from my 401K to pay college tuition for my daughter. The retirement company changed hands with my employer. as a result, the terms of the loan changed....my payments increased and was no longer to be taken out of my paycheck. I received a letter from the IRS saying the funds are now considered a withdrawal. I have not called the IRS about this yet. Like the Original poster, I was going to call to solicit help from someone more knowledgeable to see if there are any options here. thanks in advance.

a friends stated her daughter has received calls from a guy name Cesar from the organization. the way this works is that she will pay a low monthly fee for say 10yrs and if she us unable to afford the payments there is a Gov program that will pay off her loans for her. The application fee for this is $500. Obviously, this does not sound legit, but please if anyone has heard anything about this, please share. Thanks in advance.

but nothing will change until December 2015......if all goes well, in Dec 2015 the 10% paymnt rule will apply. if I am reading this correctly.

I have a questions about verifying the income. I changed jobs and they sent my pension to me. not much, but $40k. I paid off over $20k in credit card debt and had $7400 taken from me, when I tried to buy a car...2 hearing dates done...and the trial is coming up soon. will they consider the $40k with my income or just the income ? Thanks in advance

Hi, Looking for a Payment Calculator that will allow flexible payments for a relative. Not just one extra pymt, but if it is a 5yr loan...and one increases the payments by say $60 for year 2 and then add an additionally $30 8mos later for the life of the loan. without having to create an excel spreadsheet, is there something available online ? Thanks in advance

Wow....very informative thread. I have most of my cards with Chase. Chase seems to be the less user friendly. Correct me if I am wrong. Also, how does this work when an account has been moved to collections ? We bought Furniture at Levitz on that No interest for 18 month deal. The store has closed and we didn't have the balance paid off. The accounts were given to HSBC, but now sit with a collection agency. Is there any suggestions on what i can do hear ? Thanks in advance !
