ok, thats it no name. no nothing . this is equifax. these are all over my dh's equifax report all the same no name and very limited infoim figuring i can get them off with the jack attack approach because theres so many mistakes. only problem is i need a list of problems so i can get rid of them all oh yeah i forgot theyre all repeated too some 3 times. i have no idea if this is an oc or ca or my mother. i was hoping you guys could help me with a list as i dont know exactly whats supposed to be in there. thanks so far i see

Send the pre-HIPAA letter to each CRA reporting the accounts and using the account number to identify each dispute.

Let me guess. It is Midland Credit Management? If you said the name of the CA wasn't showing up check the account number and see if it doesn't match a Midland account on TransUnion or Experians report.

 

I just went through this with Midland on both mine and my wifes report. The exact same thing. Another stunt they pulled on mine was to put an R in front of the account # which caused it to count twice. In other words I had account # R4527xxxx and #4527xxxx both showing up.

 

After desputing with the CRA and having them verify as accurate I sent Midland and the CRA letters (very nasty letters) accusing them of doing this on purpose since I had coppies of letters I had sent to them showing tradelines from TU and Experian that were properly reported (note I never told them TU or EXPs tradelines were correct I just questioned how if the information sent to the 3 CRAs was accurate the tradelines could show up so different). Anyway I threatened to sue if they didn't delete all refrences on both mine and my wifes reports. It took all of 2 days for everything from Midland to be deleted on both.

 

Normally I would never dispute both my report and my wifes in one letter but I was pissed and I knew I had them over a barrel. I think they realized I had multiple violations and ran like scared rabbits.

 

I was going to post this a while back and warn people to look at the way Midland Credit Management reports to Equifax. I suspect they have found a way to manipulate the tradeline in equifax's computer to achieve the results they want.

Once again I am going to make an educated guess on what I figured out from both my wifes and my credit reports.... You need to get a copy of your credit report from Equifax, if my guess is correct you are useing Truecredit.coms 3 in 1 report? If so it isn't Equifax that is leaving off the name of the creditor, it is Truecredit that has a problem with their computer and something Midland reports to equifax throws a curve to truecredits system causing this.

 

Do a google search for "Midland Equifax and 120" you will find numerous threads about people having medical collections show up as installment loans 120 days late. From what I found in my searches last night it seems Midland reports the type of account as unknown which forces it out of the medical collections category. This only happens with equifax. Midland knows what they are doing, they have found glitches to maniplate the credit bureaus computers, just my opinion.

 

Like I said before on my reports there was also a glitch in experians report that caused the midland account to print twice, once with the actual account # and once with an R in front of the actual account #. I figured out how they did this to but to save making things more confusing I won't elaborate.

 

Please do compare the acct # on the equifax tradeline with the accounts on your TU and EXP reports and see if that missing creditor isn't Midland. You have me curious.
