There were a couple of posted comments that one of the DPs might have lost its influence on B* just before C* this time (Feb 21, I think). Anybody else notice this. Has the suspect DP been IDed?

Mine only lost their influence on that one day... for two days after them, it B* just fine. Not sure what happened on that day, but the two softs that appeared did nothing for my B*.

The manual counter is more accurate IMO. Post your softs, please so we can count them manually.

Bad Debt King, would you be so generous as to count my soft pulls? I don't know how to properly count them. Any explanation or link to one would be appreciated. I went to the pinned topic, but perhaps I am too thick headed. Thank you.

This is going to be a newb question but WTH, how are you guys cutting and pasting your inquiries into the counter? Mine won't cut and paste.

I just highlight them and right click copy then right click paste into the counter. Another way is press "CTRL" & "C" after highlighting and "CTRL" & "V to paste into the counter

Upon further review, I don't think I got C* after all. I just ran my softs through and have 72!

69. I would be VERY surprised to find those other three counted.

Out of curiosity, why would't Chartway count? One of them was for a Visa application?

I thought you were posting ONLY your softs? Yes hards pulls usually count towards the 85..

Wow! You all have this down to a science. Awesome.

Now I read 17 pages of this thread - the first 10 and the last 7. Recent posts indicate that there seems to be some correlation between state of residence and choppage. Where can I find more on this? I am in Ohio.

Thanks for all the good work. Maybe I will start dumping my 14 girlfriends, since 11 of them are from 2011. :)

It's not rocket science. Although it gets pretty weird during actual B* after you get to 85. :P

May not be rocket science, but it sure is nice that there is information floating out there what to do and what to avoid, etc...

Anyways, back to my original question -- is there a specific time each month that choppage happens based on state? If so I'd like help in locating that information.

After all, if people in my state are historically chopped the 10th of each month, it would not make sense to start multiple pulling today... I'd be better off waiting until the 11th of next month. :)

Thanks!

Where did you get the 10th from? According to recent post citing TheCaptain11 they noticed choppage today so if you have 3 daily pullers for the next 28 days you will achieve B* before next choppage. You can read my experience and guide I wrote for B* here

As I stated in my post, I am just exploring (based actually on the guide you wrote) and so I asked IF....

So, TheCaptain11 is in OH and was chopped today, so does that mean that MOST people in OHIO are chopped on the 25th of each month? Only reading 17 of 77 pages in this thread I did not see that answer, so that is why I am asking.

Ok, that helps!

I am looking at a hardcopy of my EQ report from December and I also looked back at USAA's handy chart that shows every day that I have pulled. What I noticed is that, prior to December, every soft pull is gone except for one each month. Usually, the last pull of the month remained, but not always. As I did not pull with any regularity, I could not see a definite pattern as to when C was happening. The only real pattern was that ONE Creditexpert soft showed in each month I pulled.

Everyone is the same week.

Arizona will be chopped on the first day of the week. Ohio will be chopped in the middle of the week.

If you read back a few pages, there should be a spreadsheet posted by Bob of the predicted weeks.

I read back 7 pages last night and didn't come across his spreadsheet. Maybe someone can post it again or link to it? :)
