Very funny question I have. I have been using SCP and trans union credit monitoring with unlimited pulls for a few months and knocked off some inqs. I was wondering if the whole time scp was doing it for me, because now that I think about it, I don't have TUP. The one for $17.95 with unlimited pulls is actually working or have I been doing it wrong the whole time?

all the services directly through TU (like TUI) overwrite the inqs. it's like ECA now with the ND changes.

the ones that don't are the outside services like the ones by ConsumerDirect, which owns SC and licenses the SC software to TU for TUP.

I'm referring to this one: https://membership.tui.transunion.com/tucm/mobileOrderStep1_form.page?offer=3BM50023&CID=TransUnion:PHP:mobile

So I'm still a little lost. The current service I have now for $17.95 has been overwriting itself the whole time? So I achieved B* the whole time using SCP?? I want to use both. What should I do!

check that. I just looked and it looks like they've reduced the price to $30/mo!

that's very nice.

except I'm still paying $40.

I'm going to have to call them about that.

I saw that the TUP site has also been redesigned, and it looks exactly like SC. Maybe it always has... I haven't done the B* with TU for a while.

The $30 price is still too much, but I'll probably jump on it anyway because I wasn't blessed with much patience.

For anything.

Thanks for the info. Realized it was taking too long. Good luck on your price change

I signed up for TUP. It does look almost identical to SCP. $55.00 between both of them

Quick question: Can I refresh everyday at anytime I want or is it the 24hr rule?

$55?????

TUP is $30 and SCP is $9.95.

No I signed up for scp for $24.95 and I asked them to reduce the price and they wouldn't budge

I'm going to have to call them about that.

so I called them.

same issue as with SCP, they can't change my price even though new subscribers get the lower price.

I spoke to a supervisor and tried to get him to do the same thing they did on SCP where they deactivated my account, I entered 555-55-5555 for my SSN and then was able to create a new account at the lower price.

he said he didn't have that button available to him. not sure if he really doesn't have the same option or he just doesn't know how to do it.

he said he would forward my request to the technical department and they would look at it in a couple of days.

but I'm not holding out much hope of that going anywhere.

Cancel the SCP before the next billing. Wait a week for the monitoring to stop then sign up for the $9.95 deal.

I was told this by a SCP CSR.

and have you actually tried that recently?

that used to work, but they changed their systems a couple of months ago.

now it won't let you sign up again with the same SSN.

your only option is to reactivate with the same account at the same price you're locked into.

That kind of defeats the purpose

shifter's comment has almost nothing to do with this picture; I just like this picture.

It's funny how you like snow but at the same time, you don't have it

I hate snow. I only see snow on my own terms, now that I live in San Diego. Usually I see it only on the Interwebs, which pleases me greatly.
