+100. Same thing I was going to say. Include copies of your documentation to AFNI (edited of course) and demand that they give you something in writing showing the account is closed, will not be sold or transferred, and the tradeline has been taken off your CRs. While you're at it, let them know what violations you have on them and tell them that you will drop the whole issue for some settlement bucks. You never know what will happen. Just don't get greedy.
-
Document the violation for your records right now. Use it as ammo against them later. If you have multiple calls after the C&D you might want to speak with an attorney and consider litigation. Even though 1 phone call after receiving a C&D is a technical violation, no attorney that I know would want to take it. If you’re talking a bunch of phone calls after a C&D, or phone calls plus numerous other violations, then they may take it.

+100. Same thing happend to me last year. Let the CRAs know and it was removed within 30 days.
-
Never had that problem and I have all of the cards listed. Got them at the toy limits, but with monthly PIF using my bank's bill pay, I got CLI in about 6 months for one, and 10 months for the other. When the bill pay says HSBC got the payment, I get an email from HSBC the next day saying the payment was posted to the CC account. As far as reporting, you can set your clock with it for all three CRAs. Same day every month. You ever call HSBC and ask them what's up with the hold and the reporting?

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/local/100...ns1266933544375 HOUSTON - Ernestine Jamison cooks vegetables for her four children every night in their north Houston apartment. But when she opened a bag of Pictsweet frozen cut green beans last month, she found more than just green beans. “I saw something in there I wasn’t for sure what it was. I thought it was a rock because it was hard,†said Jamison. What she found wasn’t a rock at all. Upon further review, the Jamison family believes the green and black frozen object nestled in their dinner was a severed snake head. “When I saw it was a snake's head I just threw it down and called my kids and said I got a snake head in the green beans, everybody said ‘oh lord, you got a snake head in the green beans," said Jamison. After the screaming subsided, 15-year-old Sarah Jamison grabbed her camera and took video and pictures of their uninvited dinner guest. “I saw big eyes, with a mouth open and a tongue coming out, it looked like it was ready to attack," said Sarah. Jamison called Pictsweet, and they offered her $150. But she wasn’t looking for money and turned it down. A letter sent by the company’s insurance provider to Jamison claims Pictsweet “is not responsible for this accident,†and they are “denying liability.†The company also claims it wasn’t a snake head at all. They say it was a frog head. “But it's still gross whether it's a frog or snake,†said Jamison. Now this mother has to try harder than ever just to get her kids eats their greens. “Vegetables, umm, I don't look at vegetables the same, I never really liked the vegetables but like now I can't even go near vegetables," said 17-year-old Mariam Jamison. FOX 26 News attempted to contact Pictsweet several times in recent weeks to respond to this story, but they did not return our calls.

FROM ARLINGTON PD: Our agency suffered a tragic loss today. Officer Craig Gordon Story, a seven-year veteran of the Arlington Police Department, died in the line of duty in a vehicle crash Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. Officer Story, 34, was working as a motorcycle traffic officer at about 7:15 a.m. when his motorcycle and an Arlington school bus collided near the intersection of South Cooper Street and Inwood Drive. Officer Story suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Nine children were on the school bus, along with the driver. None of them suffered any serious injuries. Grief counselors were provided for the children, who ranged in age from 6 to 13. There are inherent dangers that come with being a police officer. We all hope to never have to talk about our officers making the ultimate sacrifice, but unfortunately today we are doing just that. Officer Story joined the 24th Academy Class of the Arlington Police Department in May 2002. He worked patrol in the North and East districts, and was nominated for East officer of the Year in 2005. During his seven years with the department, Officer Story received 19 commendations. He was also a member of our Tactical Unit and had joined the Traffic Unit last year. Most importantly, Officer Story was a family man. He is survived by his wife, Danielle, and 2-year-old son. Please keep the Story family and his police family in your thoughts and prayers. http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/motorcycl...d-by-school-bus ARLINGTON, Texas - An Arlington motorcycle police officer was killed in a traffic accident with a school bus this morning, and children watched in horror as fire engulfed the accident scene. No children were hurt in the wreck that happened on northbound Cooper Street at Inwood Drive in Arlington around 7:15 a.m., just south of Arlington High School. "We determined after getting to the scene that the officer on the motorcycle had collided with a school bus," Arlington Police Department representative Tiara Ellis Richard said. "Unfortunately he died here at the scene." It's not yet known exactly what caused the crash but investigators were working to determine who was at fault. Video from Sky 4 showed damage to the side panel of the bus, but it's not clear if that's where the motorcycle struck the vehicle. There were nine children on the bus ranging in age from 6 to 13, according to school representative Amy Casas. "They were being bused to various schools in the school district. There were homeless students that we have that we bus around," Casas said. The students attend Crow, Ditto and Dunn Elementaries and Bailey and Young Junior Highs. None of the students were seriously injured, nor was the male bus driver, she said. One of the students on the bus told FOX 4's Adrian Arambulo that the officer had lights on, but no siren. He said the motorcycle burst into flames and bystanders tried to put out the fire, to no avail. The officer was identified as 34-year-old Craig Gordon Story. The last time the department lost an officer in the line of duty was 2001. RIP

http://www.freep.com/article/20091104/NEWS...for-debt-relief A bill collector was arraigned today after Roseville police said he offered to make a city woman’s bill go away in exchange for a sex act and then exposed himself to her before leaving her home. George Herron, 43, of Detroit was ordered held on $10,000 bond on criminal sexual conduct and aggravated indecent exposure, both misdemeanors, in Roseville’s 39th District Court, police said. They said he is an account representative for Rent-A-Center and went to the 21-year-old woman’s home Oct. 22 to discuss a delinquent account. During the discussion, he turned the conversation into a sexual nature, offering to make her bill go away in exchange for a sex act, police said. Herron then exposed himself to her while taking her hand and placing on himself. The woman pulled away and Herron completed the sex act upon himself before leaving her home, police said. Later, police said, Herron called the woman and again expressed an interest in exchanging a sex act for eliminating her debt to the company. She then reported the incident to police. Herron’s preliminary exam is set for Nov. 18.

I must agree with VibrantEcho and punkinbee59. My chiropractor charged a little over $100 on the initial visit which included x-rays and a full work up. Visits cost about $35.00 and take only a few minutes. If you have insurance the cost is minimal..like $10.00 or so. I was introduced to one back in 2004 after a serious accident involving an 18 wheeler rear ending an armored car (I was in the armored car). At first I thought it would be a bunch of hooey, but after the first 2 visits I did find relief. I got away from it for a while, but have started going back recently for “maintenance†or “as needed†visits. I do have to say that the first time my neck was adjusted, the snapping and crunching sounds made me think he broke my neck. There was a very sharp, needle-like pain that lasted about a heartbeat. But once it was done, the relief was great. The same thing happened when my back was done. Now after overexerting on the weekend I look forward to that sound. Means the pain is gonna be gone by the time I walk out the office.

Taurine is a non-essential amino acid and is contained in bile, red meat and seafood. Taurine is named after the Latin taurus, which means bull or ox, as it was first isolated from ox bile in 1827 by German scientists. Enjoy!
