Where should we go from here. First time FHA loan

You should move on! I experienced the exact same thing with the first loan officer I worked with at my credit union. It was very discouraging, I felt it was due to my initial score pulls as well and it caused a lot of doubt whether this was even obtainable. I contacted another provider that was much more enthusiastic and I don't regret a thing! I've been a homeowner for four months now. -
I've had my Redcard since 2007. Started at $300. Received $700CLI 5+ years ago and just got another $300 this month. Now at $1,300 and I'm pretty sure I randomly updated my income with them in the past few months. I figured that was why... caught me by surprise.

This thread reminded me that it's been exactly one year since my last Discover app/denial. It seems that I've applied once a year since I started working on my credit. Today was different though... Approved for Discover More $4,000.00 I received the Approved, pending review. Called and spoke to them for 5-10 minutes about my job and income and was approved.

I've been pulling once a year since I started with all of this.

I've had the lowes card since April. $400 limit. I haven't used it yet but requested a CLI and was given a $400 CLI the other day with no hard pull.

Thanks for posting this, very interesting. Amex Costco is the card I have wanted for some time now. I was recently (2-3 weeks ago) approved for an Amex Green which surprised me. My negative is only a 90 day late 3-4 years ago and some high balances and I didn't dare apply for it.

Of course 12 inquires are going to affect your score!

It sounds like you have already begun the credit repair process. Now that you have a positive work on the negatives.

I used to work for Amazon customer service and it was extremely frustrating when this would happen. We had absolutely no access to the credit card side of the operation and only basic knowledge of it. It just comes down to someone wanting to pass the problem on to someone else.

I love it when you get CLD or closed for imperfections that were on your CR when the account was opened. I have had that happen at least twice now.

My fico score was about 670 when I was approved for the amazon store card. My initial credit limit was $1,800. This was last November.

So I used the "contact us" webform to send a GW letter to Citi

I would guess that the frontline CSA that responded to your email had the ability to remove the late fee but most likely does not have the ability to see or adjust how your account is reported to the CRA's. -
So, for a handful of hours today I had no inquiries on TU

I've used it once, purchased an iMac and a printer for about $1400 and received 0% for 24 months. The financing offers are great. I'll probably just reserve it for large purchases. -

Amazon approved me for $1,800 in November. I requested a CLI after four months and now my limit is $2,125
