Chase Bank revolving: positive TL - closed - "paid as agreed" - 0 balance.

POSITIVE???

KEEP IT

I have always been comewhat puzzled as to how 'Closed' is a Positive TL... but i am in the same boat with GEMB/Old Navy (says simply 'Closed,' nothin more, nothing less)...

... but yes = Positive TL, so i WONT be disputing it!!!

Only AFNI :D

= My Experience with a 'Closed' Posotove TL.

Yup I'd leave it be as long as it's a positive account. Though I'm surprised they're reporting a 12 year old TL, thought they only reported positive information for 10years?

Thanks for all the info. If it stays, I'll leave it alone. I'm disputing all my old addresses (have lived in my current residence for almost 11 years) and I've read that sometimes accounts that are associated with deleted addresses get deleted, too. Hope not.

I also have an old positive revolving TL listed from 2000 and a negative one that dates to 1994. The last activity reported on the latter was in 2005.

My average age for TLs is 10 years and 5 months, which is good, but losing the one from 1994 will lower that. Having Kay and Jared start reporting will lower it further. Oh well.

Me, too. Makes no sense. But I'll take it.

Edit: Wait, could it be because the last activity on it was in 2003?

That's possible. So if your last activity on it was in 2003, then it doesn't become a ten year old debt till 2013. 7 year old debt next year if I have my math right.
