I've noticed a few gas stations in Massachusetts with this new policy of paying less for gas if purchased with cash, and more if purchased with credit. Is this against Mastercard/Visa rules??(My assumption is yes) If so i'll get the addresses of these businesses to report them.

Same in CT, they have the cash, and then non cash. I think they are skirting the merchant agreement, by using pay at the pump as a convenience charge.

THE ONE PLACE THAT TRIED THAT SCAM WENT OUT OF BUSINESS LAST YEAR

Their so-called "CASH DISCOUNT" price was $0.05--->$0.10 more expensive

than the closest 8 or 10 other gas stations that have CASH or CREDIT SAME PRICE

Are they advertising the credit price on their signs?

THEY WOULD HAVE TO ADVERTISE BOTH PRICES

I was referring to the sign visible from the road. The credit price must be clearly advertised there, or the cash price with something like "Prices refer to the cash discount price, which is x cents less per gallon ."

A cash discount is a price reduction on goods or services from the standard price if a consumer pays with cash or check. Merchants may offer a discount for cash provided that the offer is made to all prospective buyers. The states of Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts and Oklahoma additionally require that the cash discount be clearly and conspicuously disclosed to customers.
