Hi Whychat,

 

I need a bit of advice on which letter to send...

 

1 - Last year, I sent the first letter to the CRA, and got the info on the collection account

 

2 - Got back the info, and sent payment via Money Order to the OC stating that they couldn't assign it to the CA.

 

3 - Money Order was cashed.

 

4 - Sent Follow Up letter to the CRAs with copy to OC.

 

5 - Still Verified, this time with no info

 

6 - Sent complaint to FTC

 

7 - Sent letter to CRAs; still verified with no info

 

8 - Life went nutso, insane, crazy as a loon, changed jobs, bought house, major illness in family resulting in a death, credit took a back seat to everything else

 

9 - Fast Forward to December 2006

 

I need to know which letter to send to the CRAs, and I want to do it in the next few days. Even though the Holiday rush isn't the same as it used to be, I want to take advantage of it.

Did you send the HIPAA letter with the proper insert along with this payment??? or did you just state that they could not endorse the check to the CA?

Redispute on line.

Click on the "other" box

Type in "obsolete"

 

If THAT dispute doesn't work, ( keep printout copies of the dispute) you then send the "courtesy letter" and file a HIPAA complaint against the OC.

Well, I tried.

 

EX - Already verified this account, contact the CA - when I submitted the online dispute.

 

EQ (CSC) - Site is down for online disputes.

 

Looks like letter time
