#2) For Experian pullers, Last Day of the Month.

Rationale: If you apply the First Day of the Month, you have to wait 28-31 days to hit the 25th month.

Then the next full weekend for that inquiry to drop off.

Applying on the last day of the month, as opposed to the first day, reduces time inquiry sits on report by almost a full month.

 

#4) For Equifax pullers, right before C*

 

#5) For PenFed, wait for pre-approval, could be inquiry-free

 

#6) For PenFed, within 60-90 days of last time PenFed pulled report, can be re-used.

 

#7) For ING, wait for pre-approval, could be inquiry-free
