the strange thing is, both usaa and scp show me with only three inq. and obviously, i'm way over 65 or whatever the magic number is, according to that...all my softs from earlier this year are there too (including inquiries that i've apparently bumped off already).

Not sure about the older inq's, but you don't have 65 softs since the recent hards abd for b* its FIFO.

 

The older inq's seem to be from car shopping so they onlt count as one anyway.

no they're not, that's the strange part. the top three from july are the only three that show when i pull via SCP or USAA...

I would say it may be reinsertion but if it was than it should be showing up on USAA and SCP.

 

Hopefully one of the BI's will be along with an idea of what is going on.

 

IME once I b* an inq off of TU it was gone from the backdoor report too.

Matty, it looks like you discovered something interesting.

 

Your post inspired me to check the TU backdoor, and I see the same thing.

 

In August my backdoor showed 0 hards and 56 "good" softs. Today it shows everything from within the last 2 years - all my previously B*d hards plus at least 150 softs. It looks just like an EX report!

 

I'm not calling this a reinsertion yet, because I still see 0 hards on USAA and CKarma. But it does not bode well. Perhaps TU is experimenting with a beta... :o

Just to add a data point I pulled back door on Friday and my B* inq's were still not there.

Another interesting point - I had previously this summer disputed an incorrectly spelled employer. That had been removed as of my last backdoor pull, which was sometime in june...it was back on this one.

 

That incorrect spelling also does not show on my usaa or scp reports. Also, I pulled both again today with no apparent reinsertion...its all very strange.

I also was reinserted 8 old, previously B* inqs sometime during Sept. and was actively pursuing B* on 2 more inqs from this year. I noticed the reinsertion during a dispute, and just kept daily pulling. ALL daily pullers only showed the 2 inqs. After those 2 were gone and the dispute was completed, I was kinda surprised to find that ALL hard inquiries were gone.
