So if I have a dispute in progress, will I be able to see if anything's changed on my report before I pull my reports through the paid subscription route??

 

Are the backdoor reports updated in realtime?

 

Sorry for my ignorance, I've done a search and couldn't find the answer.

Yes you will be able to see if anything has been changed if you are disputing something.

Be careful not to check the backdoor too often with TU, as they tend to lock out.

 

EX and EQ I have always checked very frequently without issues.

 

It is odd that you are finding an issue with EQ. I would wait a few days and try again.

Thanks. EQ wants me to send in address proof and ID etc in order to access. It's weird because I use EQ to pull daily.

 

How frequently do you check?

Backdoor = the rear door of the CRAs.

 

In all seriousness, it's when you follow the prompts as if you were to dispute something on your credit reports. It'll automatically allow you to see your report so you can point out what you want to dispute. It's just a free way of checking your reports

And this can be done daily? I have 26 inq on eq I would like to reduce I just signed up for Eq complete advantage but is 17.95 a month If I can get the same results the backdoor way that would be great Ill try it today hopefully I wont mess anything up.

Specifically, I requested my free annuals, later applied for Hyatt approved and denied CLI on Marriott. I received letter and later reconed, but wondered if I could gain access to a free update after receiving the annual.

 

I ask when I tried to request another report it stated I already received my free report and did not allow me the option to state I was declined

Google: "CRAname online dispute" Ex. "Transunion online dispute" Use the report number on each of your old reports answer the security stuff. It will open your report up. This report will have the current date. It is a current report. This is the backdoor to a fresh report to check for changes. You can continue this way until they close it out. I figured it out last night and successfully accessed all three. Plus, if you've been denyed credit you can get a free report via phone.
