I was wondering if anyone has ever used this approach? If so, what are the qualifications? Does the dealershi run your personal credit or just your business line of credit?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated .

Thanks!

Jowster:

It can be done. Usually with the captive finance sources associated with the Manufacturer. Biz auto loans normally get automatic "B" tier.

If you have sufficient credit to get a Better than "B" tier approval the personal guarantee will approve the loan based solely on the guarantor credit standing.

What you could do is go with some of the business leasing companies such as http://www.preferredlease.com . All they require to lease a car to is Paydex score of at 75 and they can get you pre approve for up to $75K, no personal guarantee. There are others like this, so check around. Google is a good start. :-)

Nature of Business: This company's business is equipment leasing.

Bureau File Experience: We rate this company as having an unsatisfactory business record.

Most complainants allege the company failed to fund the leases and then refused to refund deposits. Complainants contend the company solicited them for a lease agreement requiring a deposit of the first and last months rent along with a processing fee. According to most complainants, when the company is unable to fund the leases, they promise to make refunds but fail to do so. Most people complain that the company does not return telephone calls.

The company responded to some complaints by issuing refunds for the deposits and, in some cases, the processing fees. In other cases, they refused to make any refunds claiming that the customer provided false information or refused to proceed with the lease, even though the terms were changed. Some complaints remain unanswered.

Just a concerned word of caution: Handle your businesses' credit with care and don't get red flagged by D&B due to poor credit association. There are many credit coaches that offer creditbuilder programs out there for businesses, their co-op of vendors may contain companies which may be red flagged by D&B. The co-ops offer your business easy business credit or fast track programs. Use your power and do a search on vendors that are not familiar to you.

Like they used to say on "Hill Street Blues" [dating myself] "Be careful out there!"

Btw, D&B offers BizAdvantage reports for backgrounds on suppliers ($1.50-$5.00) http://www.bizadvantage.com/cgi-bin/writer...x.html[bOUNTY])
