I applied for a CITIBANK CC last Tuesday, began checking the status of the application via the email link where you type in your zip code. After about 4-5 days, i began getting errors when i'd try to find the status of the application through the email link. I then called the automated service where you put in your social security number, it says something like "we did not received an application with the information provided......" What gives? Anyone have this problem?

Awesome! And congratulations! Ive been away from CB for appx 8 years. Had a successful ch7 and restored my credit standing within months of it. Ive been in excellent standing, scores floating around 790, making three times as much money with the same fulltime job the past 18 years and my own company on the side. Creditboards is in large part the reason for my successes and saved my sanity and life when I was financially down and out for the count. Learned alot from specific people here as well. Just curious, what are some of the details of your situation like type and amount of loan, income, etc...

Combine that with an incompetent LO (ive read several complaints online) and I got a major waste of time on my hands. Going to be important to have a few other lender backups so i can jump shop if I have to.

Were they firm on the 6 month reserves at closing? Why so much? Also, what are the implications of them servicing a loan that they partly sold off? I'm a little lost on that... Why did this thread stay in the credit forum and not get switched to the mortgage forum?
