Have you tried contact AT&T. I wouldn't call the collector - I would go right to AT&T.
-
you can check TU backdoor if you have a userid and password to true credit if you do give it a shot - works everytime.
-
Respond with what they are requesting - they will then send you the results.

In the simplest form -- each tradeline has two SOL's. One is the reporting SOL and the other is the legal SOL. The four years is the legal SOL. The reporting SOL is 7years from the date of first default. That is why the date is 2013. They are saying sometime in 2006 there was a problem.

Have you ever DV'd them? If not - I would - they may delete it. It is not time for PFD, in my opinion. Too soon. SOL will also probably not be a concern here either as I cannot imagine they would sue you over a debt for 50.00. Try the DV first - see if they respond. They may or may not the first shot. May take a couple of letters.

Arrow is the only one showing a balance due. I believe you said they also have a judgement for you on this debt and it's located under the Public Records button? The others showing negative are there and reporting negative, more than likely, because of late payments. So check the details. Also check for dates of first default. Not the open date or the date reported date - I can't remember if this one shows you the DOFD or not. Also are there any collection accounts reporting? This will give you a full picture of your report. I agree with getting hard copies from the bureaus before you get started.

I, personally, would lose just about all of it except for the first statement. And then I would modify that to become it's not mine simply. You do not need to explain what you expect from them, nor tell them what they need to do. They know what they need to do and that is to simply send the documentation that supports what is reporting is accurate. If it's also about to fall off -- they will probably just go ahead and delete it. my two cents...

Yup utilization that high is hurting but how old is the judgement?

Regarding the statement about credit shouldn't be based on what might happen.... A lender reviews the past and what's happening now to predict the FUTURE.... The lender wants as much information as they can get to determine what kind of a risk you pose to them on not holding up your end of the deal if they were to lend to you. If you were the lender - wouldn't you want to know that information too? I'm also not a lender and have never been one....
-
As far as I know there is also no way to get them removed.
-
There are two SOL's for each trade line. One is the reporting SOL and the other is the legal SOL (explained above).

We have been paying triple mortgage payments for the last 4 years with wells fargo. I do it by writing and physically mailing a check because i don't trust them nor their website. On the coupon i mark the "normal" monthly payment with interest and then just mark xxx for the extra principal. It is always applied the right way. Never failed once. And it works -- 30 year mortgage will be paid in full in another 14 months. SOO exciting. Total time to pay - 5.5 years.... WOOHOO! ps: then we won't have to live so "broke"....

I know TransUnion backdoors will tell you the dates they will fall off and Equifax backdoors tell you the date of first default. I don't believe XP tell you either of those things.

Are credit card creditors allowed to take money out of your bank account?
