The military uses dell products and i can say from the thousands (literllay) of laptops I've worked on that they are pretty high quality in comparison to HP and even Sony. Personally, I'd recommend the Toshiba Satellite line for value and build quality. Nothing beats a Mac right now........IMO

I'm pretty sure that if your reports are not spotless then BOA wants to ask you some questions. Call and talk to them, answer some questions and they will tell you one way or the other. I called the next day after I applied.

Chase was all about security questions with me. Their fraud dept called me after I got the 30 day message and asked about some addresses that did not match. I verified some accounts that were on my report and called the next day. The automated message said approved. So it could be the address you gave did not match up or something or else I'd try to get a recon as already mentioned. Chase was cool with me.

Could someone give me a quick summary of why amex is so great? Is it the benefits? I'm not being facetious, I honestly don't know. Seems like they treat their customers like the blue shirt children they never wanted. You always have to prove you're good enough. So what's the factor that makes everyone want their product. Could be a great marketing idea, tell people they can't have something and they want it more.

My scores and credit match up with yours very well so i'd say Chase. They gave me 2K cause that's what I asked for when they called to verify information. I have a very good feeling they would have given me 3k but I was just happy they approved me atm.
