  1. My sisters husband, a lifetime resident of Texas, has had a judgment against him by Credigy in Texas for a $15K credit card debt from 10 years ago. It was my understanding that credit card debts couldn't be garnished in Texas as in other states, especially for a debt of that age. Does anyone have any insight as to whether this is legal in Texas, the judgment has been issued and holds have been placed on all his bank accounts by the State of Texas. This is not a tax lein, its for a credit card debt. HELP
  2. I ordered a replacement card from Amex for my Zync card and received a Delta Sky Miles card. I signed in to my account to activate the card and it still shows as being a Zync. Any clues as to why they replaced it with the Delta?
  3. thanks for the heads up I snagged this one up for some vacation time this summer!
  4. I received one as well but it was for 15K points for spending $750+ in those same months
  5. does the Bluebird report to the credit bureaus?
  6. I just got the Citi Double Cash and it was a World MasterCard...I was shocked it wasn't a Visa.
  7. After being black listed with Citi for years I was able to get approved for a new Citi Best Buy store card! I hope this is my in with Citi going forward.
  8. USAA AMEX $7000 - non member, very high APR WALMART DISCOVER $1000 - called the magic # and bumped up to $15,000 ALLIANT CLI to $5000 from $3000 BARCLAY APPLE CLI to $7500 from $5000 off to garden : )
  9. I went to Cancun last November and used my BOA Travel Rewards card at 1 place to buy some tequila....BIG MISTAKE!! I had several thousand $$ worth of charges put on my card within hours. BOA was awesome and took care of everything but I highly suggest you are very careful using a credit card there. Thankfully I brought a couple of backup cards otherwise I would have been in some deep crap when I tried to check out of the hotel. Good luck and have an awesome trip!
  10. Mine started with the $500 CL and now when I click on the "check spending availability" link I can charge up to $1500. Not sure if that helps. I have had my card 1 year almost to the day and it was backdated to 1996.
  11. I applied for and rec'd an Alliant Visa Rewards card about 7 mos ago and was given a $3K CL with 14.24% APR at a score of 701 and only a few new accounts. Since then I've opened a whole bunch of new accounts and my usage is about 21%, I currently have 0 inquiries on Equifax and my credit score is about the same as when I originally applied. My current usage on that card is about 90% since I was taking advantage of the introductory rate. I'm wondering if anyone has experience in requesting a CLI increase and APR rate decrease with them and how your experience was.
