Trying to teach your kids is such a double edged sword. I like the Mom's idea, myself. Sounds like the kid learned that he has to 'act accordingly' to have the right to ride the bus. Hope this story is updated because I'd probably toss in some cash to Mom if she does get fined for trying to teach her young heathen how to behave in public.

Have a debt that's been reaged by a CA, which shows new (in the last year and a half) which has gone undetected till now. Silly CA who put the stuff on my report shows all incorrectly. Is this legal for them to take a debt that is due to fall off my bureau's this year, by June I think.....and date it back at the end of last year showing the Factoring, 1 month bs which cost me for a mortgage, btw.

This happened with us at Sonic. They guy disappeared with my card where I couldn't see him and then finally came back and gave me the receipt and my card. Within a few weeks, the Sonic in Selina Kansas had 2 charges for different amounts under 20.00 each. I called to see if they processed their cards through a 'central location' since I've only been to Kansas once in my life and it was over 30 yrs ago. I then spoke to the asst mgr at the store and the manager. Everybody swore that my card was ran through their machine. Not. They can tell if they look on that day's receipts. Seems the local guy must have been passing around credit card numbers from my local sonic for this to have gotten to her in Kansas, but that was Chase's problem on doing something about it once I notified them. Girls myspace (I had her name) showed that her favorite hobbies were going to church and being involved in church activities. lol.

However, Experian and Equifax are still listing? It's out of SOL for reporting. Are the other 2 CRA's harder to get it deleted?

No, they are still showing my balance of 97.00 from over 2 months ago? It just makes me wonder I'm paying for this mess, if it's not updating? Maybe I will call and ask, cuz the updated amounts show on my usaa credit monitoring? Go figure?

And to add insult to injury, I applied for hubby a new card and started paying one of his cards down, now his scores are higher than mine. What's up with that. heh

I have the credit monitoring through USAA and tonight out of curiosity I decided to buy our new scores from myfico. Fico scores show a definite improvement on mine and hubby's reports, but I notice that Transunion hasn't budged an inch, while I have a significant increase in my Equifax score? I'm not sure if it's the reports, or just my old tired eyes playing tricks on me, but it's just odd that after all I've paid down or off, that Transunion hasn't budged one iota and Equifax did, at least 20+ points in these past 2 months.

Sorry I can't be of any help, but I wish you the best. Public speaking is so NOT my thing. I literally forget when I see all those eyes and choke. I've heard you should just picture them all sitting in their undies and you should do fine. lol

Thanks for posting that. Just pulled mine & hubby's fico scores and things are getting quite nice for a change. The code worked like a charm.

I'd pull a copy of my credit report first. Then if this is true that somebody did this in your name, then file a report yourself. I wouldn't sign anything for a jdb. Sounds like they are fishing.
