Thanks for all the help.A major neg on my CR are four separate entries from TGSLC for student loans. They have long since been refinanced and sold to suntech which shows as a positive on my report. These four entries show Paid/Current was a collection. Is there any kind of letter I can send them. They were not the original owner they just got them way back when I went into default.

TGSLC was your guarantor which makes them the ultimate owner of your loans. The loans were charged back to them when you defaulted. Legally they are entitled to be on your CR.

Did you take any steps to rehab prior to the refi? If so, their ombudsman might provide some assistance. If you simply re-fied, then you may be stuck.

Yeah...and good luck dealing with them. UGH! Not that I'm bitter or anything...
