Ive only got 3 baddies left and Experian is giving me the previously verified stuff. I sent them a letter on a judgment saying that if they verified it to provide me with the name of who verified it, name of person it was verified with and contact numbers and they sent me a previous verified letter and wont reinvestigate, what can I do now?

no its not a paid judgment, its a medical judgment, I went to court for a debtors meeting on it also. Its from a auto accident where I was a passenger and I explained that to the attorney at the debtors meeting and never heard anymore about it, its from 2008, I disputed as not mine and asked if it was verified to send me the name of the person who verified it, and by whom it was verified with and contact numbers and I got the previously investigated letter

I would check the court records and see how it is recorded there. You should be able to find this online. If it is your judgment, saying 'not mine' will come back verified if it is in the public court records.

UUUUGGGGHHHH. This is a mistake that consumers make ALL the time. Just telling the attorney that you were the passenger and not responsible won't do it. If you didn't have any medical insurance then you are responsible for the bill until you open a claim with their auto policy carrier or sue the driver of one or both cars.

Many people assume because they are in a car accident they don't have to pay the medical bills. You DO. The other driver's insurance doesn't owe you anything until a court of law says they do. Now most times it does not come to that because if their insured is responsible they settle the claims.

Did you ever open a claim with the driver's insurance company? If not it is too late now. You have one year to notify them of a claim and only two years to sue on personal injury. Now you are stuck with the medical bills.

Now that there is a judgment and they have done a debtor's exam the only way out of this and to get it off your CR is to either pay it, settle it for less, or live with it until it expires and drops off the CR which in some states can be 20 years and as long as they renew it, it can continue to report.

Let's ease up, and try telling people how they might solve their problems instead of how wrong they are and that their problem cannot be solved. If every question got answered in such negative terms, there would be no CB. We figure out a way, we at least try.

Do this. Disputing wouldn't be the answer. Did you check to see if the driver of either vehicle had insurance? Were you of legal age at the time of the accident? Did you have car insurance of your own?

It is true that if you were of legal age and you signed the consent forms for medical treatment, you were also agreeing to pay the bill - if no insurance paid. However, there are way too many variables and unknowns to just dismiss the incident. When a doctor or hospital accepts assignment of insurance, they are agreeing to file the claim as a courtesy. IMO they should be obligated to file the claim, but they're not. Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes the rules.

Call and dispute it thats been working alot for people lately, you have to stay persistant with Ex so dont give up. I was told the same thing and wrote one last dispute letter to get my remaining baddie removed I got lucky and it was deleted before the 30 days were up. Again stay persistant you will be surprised how far it will get you with EX.

The only problem is, if there really is a judgment, it's a public record that doesn't really go away. You might get it deleted off your report temporarily, but if someone does a background check, they will find it. It's better to deal with judgments permanently, if you can. Get a copy of the record, see what's in there.

yes I was of legal age, I didn't have a license so I didn't have insurance, yes the driver had insurance, it was a one vehicle accident, I was lifeflighted from the hospital because of possible head injury, arrived unconscious and woke up next day and was released later that evening. The driver had insurance but never knew she didn't file a claim
