This account is listed on my chex system report and it was reported 7/10/2008 If it only stays on for 5 years, should I dispute it now as obsolete and see if I get lucky?

Don't touch it with only a month to go! For some reason if any thing is updated by BOA it will restart the time again.. It will fall off it self next month.

should I get another chex system after the 10th and make sure it has fallen off and if it hasn't then dispute as obsolete?

Give it a week or so then go ahead and dispute it.. They should delete it pretty much right away since it will be over the 5 years.

Proceed as if it has been deleted after, but not on, Wednesday.

well I faxed my dispute to them on 7/11 and asked to have all addresses removed except current and disputed the BofA account obsolete and they must have deleted it because I was able to go online and open a Huntington Bank checking account and savings, yea! lol Thanx everyone for the great advice
