First Chase offer in about 10 years or so.

I just opened the new Barclay's. Are they gonna shut me down if I get this?

I would like the $300 sign up bonus. Is it targeted? The website has $100 right now.

So what you're saying is, I should try also in the name of science.

Grasping for straws, here.

She had a razor thin file, 3 new cards, & Discover denial.

Reason Chase gave was "Debt to Income",

$4k student loan didn't look good.

Congratulations! You've been approved for the CHASE FREEDOM credit card.

You will receive your new CHASE FREEDOM credit card along with your Cardmember Agreement within 7 to 10 business days.

If your application included balance transfer requests, those requests are still under review and you will hear back from us about them within the next 10 business days.

Thank you for applying!

Thanks!

What's not to like about a free $300, plus 5% back on restaurants July-Sept.

Okay, NOW it's time to chill out again for a while.

And gas. Don't forget that one. :)

Congrats!

I find myself very conflicted with the Freedom though, since the categories aren't consistent to really plan around. Also, for the next quarter I also have my Sallie Mae card to give 5% back on gas and my Citi Forward for 5% back on dining. Since I didn't use my Chase card much this quarter, I think I'm going to end up using it for the easy-to-redeem rewards and avoid the Thank You points bullcrap.

Thanks!

Gas does not happen to be something I ever purchase. Depending on your viewpoint I am either really smart, really lucky or really lazy like that.

Thanks BDK! It was Transunion.

Wow, really? Do you have EX and/or EQ frozen?

No, I didn't. Based on the other pulls from my region lately, I expected Equifax, but it looks like they have used all three of them before.
