how long do push/pull initiated from penfed online account take?

I only did it once, I pulled to Penfed from another bank. At the other bank the ACH posted as occurring three days after the Penfed transfer start date. I don't remember when the money showed up as available in my Penfed account but it was probably three to five days. I think that is about normal for most banks.

when I pull into penfed the transaction is instant up to a certain $$ amount. I've never pushed out of PenFed or pulled out.

Hege - are you saying when you pull into Penfed you see the amount of the ACH show up as available instantly online in your Penfed account?

 

I'm not sure how to separate which bank is dragging their feet. It could be my other bank balked at the transfer.

 

I guess a person would have to try whatever banks they use and see how it goes for them.

I just checked and up to 5K my pulls are applied instantly when depositing into savings. I imagine some people have limits higher or lower than mine.

I'm going to try pulling into Penfed loan in a week. I'll let you know how it goes.
