Today I received a dunning letter for two medical collctions for my DH from 2007 and 2008. These are not on his credit report from this CA yet.

Do I just start with step 2 of the process since there is no reason to send anything to the CRA? If that is the case can I write one letter for both accounts since I got one dunning letter for both accounts? Thanks in advance.

Are these valid bills?? Do you have copies of original bills from the OC?? Did he have insurance?? If so, do you have his EOMBs from his insurance??

Start with step 1-- OPT OUT

Delete old addresses if possible if you have moved since 2008

Send the CA this:

Thank you whychat. I have already deleted the old addresses and opted out a while back.

We do not know what the bills could be for. We actually have a feeling they may belong to his father because his dad lives in the same town these bills are from and my husband is a 2nd. We keep having lots of problems like this.

I am going to get this letter sent of to the CA by the end of the week. I will report back on this thread once I hear something back.

Thanks again!
