Not liking the sound of that, might have some financing to do soon and I have a new 4400 balance transfer sitting on a 10,500 limit card that will report this month. Wonder how bad it's going to hurt.

Looks like it was a combination of 3 cards reporting a balance, with one of them at 10%.

Now I only have 2 cards reporting balances, and got 8 points back. :D

Bob, sounds like you've moved onto another score card since last year, when you had a ton of cards report balances and had no effect. Unless it's the 10% factor weighing so heavily.

So, 10% utilization costs me 10 points.

10% utilization AND 3 accounts with balances costs another 8 points.

:swoon: :swoon: :swoon: Super risky now...slummin' it in the 2% group!!! :P

That 10% util on one card must really be freaking your FICO score card out.

I don't know how people maintain these 835+ scores consistently. One slip up and you're toast. Oh, that's right...they're usually not CW/CPs like us, juggling multiple cards and trying to remember stmt dates to PIF before hand. :P

If we didn't apply for any more cards for 10 years, we'd both be in the 835+ group. :D

1 year down next month, and 9 more to go. Nah...no fun in that. Gotta take the FICO for a spin every once in awhile.

I still remember that article comparing it to a shiny sports car. Still read his stuff and reference it to others. I miss his presence on here.

Citi Forward - $14 of $12,000

Citi Freedom Siggy - $305 of $10,000 (Limit does not report)

So, I'm suspecting I'm being penalized 6 points for having a "high balance" on a NPSL Visa Siggy

So Chase siggy's don't report limits? The Sapphire is my first Chase signature and I was a little concerned about how much reported on it's first statement cut. (Don't want to get flagged for pre-paying it) But if Chase doesn't report the limit then it really doesn't matter what the balance is...

My Chase Freedom Visa Siggy almost always reports a $0 balance since I pre-pay it.

This is the first time in years that a balance has reported, and it cost me 6 points.
