"Billionaires like John Caudwell and David Cheriton opt for cutting their own hair at home."

Surprised Gates isn't on that list -- guess he just looks as if he cuts his own hair at home LOL

Nothing wrong with folks cutting their kids' hair at home, my mother did ours when we were young.

But as adults, with their money, that's not "frugal" -- that's edging into Howard Hughes whackazoid territory. . . oh wait, I forgot, Hughes got to where he wasn't cutting anything. . .

Eh. It's all stuff that us non-billionaires have been doing anyway out of necessity.

Yep, which is what makes it a nice reminder that we never have to change lifestyle no matter how much of an income raise or increase in net worth we gain.

The opposite, actually. With no boss or clients to impress, who cares if we wear sweatpants, ride the bus, and cut our own hair if that's what we like to do?

True. That's one of the things I like about Warren Buffett. He still does what he wants to do, even if it doesn't fit in the mold of what others think billionaires should be doing.

I think all these tips makes sense. It might seem ridiculous to others because we have been so used to the daily comforts of life but practically speaking they would really help save some cash.

Except for the hair cutting part, I think I everything else are very easy to adapt to.

The average haircut costs about $45

And that figure varies WILDLY based on your locale and choice of provider. You can pay half that or as many times more than that as your ego demands
